wow 5 year contract. arsene wenger had a stint in japan in the 90's. that will probably help ease the kid's transition from japanese soccer high school to arguably the best football league in the world. (if arsene still knows how to speak japanese)

Alaska beat Ginebra 104-80 in game 3, sweeping the series and bagging the Commissioner's Cup title.

whew!wenger's philosophy. kids kids kids. when will he ever get a world class center back? i want a carles puyol- gerard pique type. yun na lang naman talaga problema sa arse eh! argh. ibenta niya na si squilacci, more often nagkakalat yun.hay.
Kuripot eh.
Speaking of centerback he always wanted vertonghen so most likely he will get him soon. Wenger has a history of getting u18 players but failed miserably kulang ata sa exposure. I hope ryo the best saw a lot of good scouting reports about him.
I think it's because the building of the new stadium set them back a few quid. So up until now they are re-paying the debt.
Yeah Arsenal need DEFENDERS! They have loads of midfielders and loads of attackers but the defence sucks, even at full strength.
I've watched Vertonghen for Ajax. Tidy player, reminds me of Heitinga -- both can do a job in the midfield.
He plays midfield for his country cause they use vermalen at centerback
We're not under the radar after all. Cesc tweeted: "I hope the game between Indonesia National Team and Philippine National Team is an enjoyable one! Good luck guys! I try to watch it!" Dami kasing Arsenal fans from Indonesia.
Wow may new thread na pala at natabunan na thread namin dati at 2 or 3 people lang ata kami dun! Haha buti dumami na gooners dito.
Actually iisa lang ang gooner na kakilala ko personally at Singapore-based pa. Meron din pala dito (of course). Ngayon ko lang actually nadiskubre na meron palang football thread dito sa PEX. I used to lurk at philfootball.info at pinoysoccer. I seem to remember na wala din masyadong active Arsenal fans dun.
I guess the Azkals really paved the way of bringing us together, of uniting pinoy football fans and non-fans alike. Naalala ko not so long ago, I wanted desperately to watch the live coverage of the Azkals' qualifying games (was it for the Tiger Cup?) at the Panaad. Solar was supposed to cover the event kaso di natuloy yung live coverage. Then somebody posted na meron coverage sa AM (forgot now which station). I had to listen to my car stereo since I didn't have an AM radio with me. I don't remeber the scoreline or which team we were up against with pero I felt happy because it was our National team and I felt pride in the team. How times change. Ngayon front page na sa mga broadsheets at may prime time news coverage na sa major networks.
Arsekalero forever!
raise the red and white. dadami rin tayo. the wins will come!! i expect beating chelsea on our turf... wenger will be active this january after all. haha. so nice!
we need some solid backs...si verminator injured until late january.
btw not even a mention here of nasri getting the FFF player of the year. i guess french football lost some creds after the world cup sham.
but he wasn't part of that team right. that's why paying dividends now him not playing there. and my money is on him to win EPL player of the year...barring any injuries.
beating Chelsea this weekend would be a nice Christmas present...
Surprisingly there is live coverage at ESPN at 330AM Tuesday 28 Dec (http://www.espnstar.com/tv-listings/region1/day3/). Sana naman di mabago ang sked. Something to look forward to.
yeah!!! well deserved goal for the gunners.
now time to keep up the pressure in the 2nd half. there's no parking of the bus in emirates stadium.
Definitely no parking of the bus. Kaya nga each Arsenal game is full of suspense and excitement up to the very last minute. One more goal please!
3-0 Cesc and Walcott! Quick fire double! That was sublime.
Cech almost does a Markus fumble. Clichy gives it away cheaply. Delikado yun. Then we score another goal.clean sheet please and more goals.
