For the 1st time Naka try din ako ng lumia phone sa smart festival mall sa alabang at nakakadismaya puro dummy phones (710, 800, 900) Yung 600 Lang real unresponsive pa Yung screen ): wala pang kaalam alam Yung mga sales person sa smart Festival mall mukhang nakatuon Lang talaga sila sa iPhone. But despite na lower end to (lower specs) I find it very capable parin to give a user a lag less experience. I wanna try lumia 900 sana *-*

As mobile major Nokia and Microsoft aggressively trying to elate the uptake of their Windows based Lumia portfolio against incumbents such as Android, BlackBerry and iPhone, Ovum predicts that Windows Phone will surpass BlackBerry to seize the third spot in smartphone shipments to the Asia-Pacific region by 2014.

In Asia-Pacific region, Android smartphone shipments will be reaching at 283.4 million by 2017, followed by iOS and Windows Phone with 186.8 million and 96.25 million shipments respectively.

Windows Phone now holds 6% market share in Germany

Market analysts company Kantar WorldPanel have teased their May 15th results, and have revealed that Windows Phone’s market share in Germany has risen to 6% in Germany. The last result from March 20th was only 3.1%, indicating a doubling in market share in only a few weeks.

In terms of ownership half a million Germans now own Windows Phones, likely around 2.5% of the smartphone using population.

Offering similar specifications as the Focus 2 that was announced for the US earlier this week, the Samsung Omnia M features a 4in Super AMOLED touchscreen and runs the latest Microsoft mobile operating system, Windows Phone 7.5 Mango. Windows Phone Is Selling Better Than iOS Based Mobile Phones (in Russia)

Through WordPanel Kantar , we learn that even Windows Phone has reached the quota of ' 6% share in Germany , marking an increase of 3% only in recent weeks. Another very positive news coming from Russia and in particular the operator MTS announced that the sales figures in Q1 of this year alone. According to the Russian company, sales of Windows Phone devices have outsold the iPhone, with a percentage of ' 8.2% of total sales , with three terminals in the top five best sellers, including the Nokia 800 Lumia, Lumia Nokia 710 and HTC Mozart.

hello po, decided na kong bilhin yung Nokia Lumia 610, me ilan nalang po akong katanungan sa inyo, at after ko mabasa yung mga comments nyo bibili na ko next week

1. FILE TRANSFER

di na pala sya kasing-simple gaya ng dating phone na basta ikabit mo sa PC eh pwede mo na i-transfer ang mga files (pix, vids, mp3s) na copy-paste sa corresponding folders

kelangan pa nga pala ng ZUNE, pero to make it short, para ba syang Nokia PC Suite lang na dapat mo daanan sa pag-transfer ng files mo? na-try ko na kase dati yun sa luma kong Nokia phone, so kung ganun naman pala, wala naman sigurong problema since ang purpose ko naman talaga sa phone ko is maging portable DVD player para panooran ko ng mga HD rip videos na na-download ko, and for sure madalas ko gagamitin yung pagta-transfer... thoughts po sa File Transfer?

and bawal pala bluetooth dun, pero ok lang, di naman ganung big deal yun saken

2. SOFTWARE UPDATE

sabi sa net ang DAMING BUG daw ng Windows Phone, kaya kelangan daw update ng update, ewan ko kung totoo or sadyang di lang talaga ma-satistied ang Internet Community

$50 na lang din pala sa Amazon ang Lumia 900 and based sa mga nabasa ko online, the Lumia has better specs.

Its my first time to use a windows phone Just wanna ask, Do I need a credit card to get into the marketplace and download apps? even if its for free? wala kasi ako credit card..and i have no plans of buying free apps. and also..will it have an effect kung US ang gamitin kong markeplace kahit nasa Pilipinas ako? I hope you can answer.

^ you dont need to have a credit card kung wala ka namang planong bumile ng paid apps. But you can purchase all free apps As many as you want without needing a CC.
and yes walang problem if u.s marketplace. Mine's is in u.s marketplace too. downside Lang is Hindi mo magagamit ang iyong locally issued CC

yes kailangan pa po ng Zune to transfer files and sync your Windowsphone. Medyo complicated talaga at first but kung familiar ka naman how iTunes works on iDevice halos ganun Lang din. May instruction naman sa Zune how to operate it on your phone. If you have a specific question about Zune, file transferring, syncing feel free to ask here again.

Btw parang Hindi naman ideal Para sa movie watching ang lumia 610 low screen res, 8gb mga 6 Lang siguro ang magagamit mo dyan, lastlly maliit ang screen. Check mo Lumia 900 or hTc titan. Pros: big screen, higher storage and sceen resolution. But kung 610 Lang talaga ang budget mo ayus na Yan

Never been a huge cellphone guy in terms of calling (mainly texting and surfing) so please bear with the stupid ignorant question

Ang dami ko nakikita sa MRT or coffee shops na sumasagot nang tawag using an earpiece and with the phone on their pocket; ano tawag dun? Nahihirapan kasi ako i-Google. I'm faintly aware that it's Bluetooth but they seem to be using regular earphones so idk how the phone picks up their voice from that distance.

Anyway, how do I do that with Windows Phone 7 and specifically the Lumia 800? Which affordable non-can size headset would you recommend?
