MANGOOOOO UPDATE O_O
Midrange Smartphone
Samsung's Omnia W:
Mango, 3.7-inch Super AMOLED, 1.4GHZ processor
Samsung just took the wraps off its Omnia W, which looks like a non-US variant of the Focus Flash we've already heard about via AT&T. The handset will debut in Italy and start spreading across the Old World and Latin America from next month. It'll sport Windows Phone 7.5 out of the box, a 3.7-inch 800x480 Super AMOLED display, 1.4GHz processor, VGA webcam on the front and rear 5MP shooter with 720p video recording. We expect it'll go head-to-head with HTC's 3.8-inch Radar when the War of the Mangoes finally kicks off.

Why is Microsoft trying to be like Apple on its mobile device? They're really pushing for the use of a content manager like iTunes to be able to load data on its devices.

Windows Phone 7 devices start receiving Mango updates by the crateful
By Michael Kwan, September 27, 2011 @ 9:47pm
At long last, the tasty update to Windows Phone 7 is finally arriving. If you happen to have any of the WP7 devices that are already out there, you should be receiving the Windows Phone 7.5 Mango upgrade within the next little while as Microsoft has begun pushing it out to the masses. Crate after crate, bushel after bushel (What’s the word for a bunch of mangoes? Is it really just a bunch?), the mangoes are arriving.
If you check out the update schedule on the official Microsoft site, you’ll see that Windows Phone 7.5 Mango is currently listed as “delivering update” across all carriers in the United States. This includes AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon, open market phones, and “all other operators.”
Of course, this comes with a caveat. If you’re wondering why your phone hasn’t already told you that it’s ready for a tasty new treat, that’s because it’s going to take a few days, if not a few weeks before the Mango update is rolled out to all devices across all carriers. In the meantime, you just have to sit tight and make sure you have Zune for Windows or Windows Phone 7 Connector for Mac all geared up, updated, and ready to roll.
Despite what naysayers, trolls and detractors has to say against windows phone mango update, they can't seem to swallow the sweet fact that MS is indeed coming back to the mobiles space and is ready to be one of the dominant OSes. Kahit saang media/techblog mo tingnan, majority is giving it a thumbs up... even going beside themselves by saying that it may lack at some area but is equally or even better at some areas against other OSes.
