We might activate it in the future. We don't want the sigs cluttering the already cluttered messages.
Alright! Perhaps you could limit each one's sigs to a number of characters.
Thanks
I also miss putting in a signature..
because when I reply to a post, I often forget to add the sig..
pa add naman.. puuuhhhhllllleeeeeaaaaasssssseeeeeeeee![]()
please (again)???

Maybe in the future Flydee, but definitely not now. PEx is already slow as it is and adding a sig file will make threads load even longer. Also, I'm afraid people will abuse this feature since, correct me if I'm wrong, there's no way to limit the number of lines in a sig right? As you can see, some people already abuse their use of smilies and I'm afraid they're gonna do the same with sigs.
By default, UBB cannot limit the number of characters in a sig. But add a few hacks, or just modify the codes, and voila! anything is possible. You can even disable smilies and UBB codes in it, so that sigs can only be pure text.
But I guess I know what you mean. With a lot of hits a day, putting up more resource consuming stuff would most likely burden your system more. But still, you can still modify the codes...
Oh well, I'll just try again next time.![]()
kelan siya ma-eenable? saya kasi nito since you can get to know more about a person through his.her signature e, di ba?
ako rin..gusto ko rin pong malaman kung kailan magagamit uli itong feature na ito.
salamat
I second the motion.
I'll bring it up on the next mod meeting. For the record though, we've never enabled this feature. We think it might be prone to abuse so we have to weigh the pros and cons before allowing sigs.
Ooh... so this is how the Announcements and Suggestions forum looks like...I've never been here before.
Oh well. Anyway, I use a signature. I preview my reply and just copy-paste my signature to the form. It's become automatic for me to do that. Wala lang. I just like it. It's so me.

it seems like a hassle to cut and paste your signature to all your posts. wouldn't it be easier if they (the server) automatically append your signature to your posts?
Idea- why not submit the signatures sa Administrators bago I-approve?
hi i dunno kung may napost na ganitong Q pero nakalimutan yata *** signatures!
thanks
We'll see anwarlorenzo. We want to avoid cluttering the posts as much as possible kasi. We're not yet fully convinced that there is a need for signatures.
Yah I agree, we don't need signatures na kasi masyado nang complicated ang PEx.
peace...
Ada: ic... it's optional naman di ba? pero anyway i understand naman eh![]()
ada, IIRC, there's an option in a user's setting if he/she wants to see the sig. baka pwede gawin default is sig should be off. so that at least, initially, PEx wouldn't look at all cluttered.
