Gaming, in all forms is not practical. Even in sports. If you want some good equipments, then you have to shell some money for it. Video gaming is a luxury. Practicality in it's simplest form is to do something simply yet pleasurable. Kung gusto mo nang praktikal eh di lumabas ka ng bahay ibang bagay ang laruin mo. LOL

Para dun sa mga galit na galit sa mga can-afford, paano ka makakapaglaro ng mga matitinong laro kung hindi mo yun babayaran. Remember that the devs are workers too. They need cash to funds their game development.

Kung okay naman sa'yo na single player/offline gaming lang, then go on. You are missing nearly 75% of the game when you don't go online and play multiplayer with other people. That's the fun factor someone can get when playing online via PS3 or Xbox 360. Still, it depends on the end user.

The ps3 was hacked more than a year ago. Sure, they are releasing new models which they claim are unhackable. But I think you'll have no trouble finding stores that sell 320gb ps3 slims that are already filled with backup games. Parang PSP na rin 'to ngayon. Mas mahal nga lang. And you'll need an HDTV to fully enjoy the visuals. Kaya naging practical saken kasi may 22 inch na nakatambak lang sa kwarto ng ninang ko. Eh di ko naman habol mga high-end LED tvs. Basta nababasa ko mga text sa game ok na ko.


Thing is you won't be playing online anytime soon. But people seem to forget that there are games that are meant to be played offline. (God of War 3, Valkyria Chronicles, Dead Space 1, Bioshock 1, Heavy Rain, Infamous 1 & 2, etc.). So to those who want to buy ps3 but don't want to spend money on original copies then go ahead and hope the best that it's worth the money for you as it was for me.

that's nice yung PS3 ko nung binili ko last year mga 20 thousand pa nun plus yung game na FF13 nung nabili ko umabot ng halos 23 thousand pesos.

If you want to be practical, just buy those things that you need. Gaming is a want not a need. Iyon ang ibig kong sabihin. So to answer the TS question wala, hindi practical bumili ng PS3 at kahit ano pang video game lolol. There's no such thing as being practical when it comes to video gaming. lolol

Yung kapatid ko dati tuwing tapos na sa isang game, ite-trade niya sa iba yung game para may malaro naman na bago. Laging ganun hanggang sa nag-sawa siya binenta na lang PS3 at nag-focus sa PC.

Definitely. It ain't practical to buy a newly released system because chances are its gonna be overpriced and with bugs. For me, in order to know if its practical you need to ask yourself a.) Do you have excess money to spare to buy the system and continuously buy games? b.) Does the system have enough games to keep you satisfied regardless if the games are old or new c.) Do you have the time to spend in using the console

If the answer is yes then buy all means go buy a PS3.

Hanggang PS2 lang inabot ko, mukhang can afford naman na PS3 sa ngayon, kaso kung lalabas na PS4 mukhang kailangan ko magtight ng budget. Gusto ko rin ng PS Vita, ang gulo.

Ang dami ko nang namiss na games. Final Fantasy, Tales Series.

Baka may nagbebenta ng PS3 diyan na mura, wala na rin kasi masyadong time para maglaro unlike before buong magdamagan maglaro.
