also bad, in 2007: la salle lost that first game of the final four series with ateneo. that really got the la salle community on their heels. they had a 6 or 7 point lead with less than 3 left and chris tiu blitzed them. after that win by ateneo, rick olivares gave a solid middle finger to the la salle crowd

    - Game 1 and 2 of the DLSU - UE Finals
    - The singing of our Alma Mater hymn during Game 2 against UE ( one of the most heartfelt singing of the hymn that I have ever heard)
    - a UP - NU game that preceded an Ateneo - La Salle game, wherein the whole crowd cheered for UP and booed NU (forgot the year though)
    - The Maui villanueva buzzer against UST (2008)
    - The Fingerhoffer incident
    - The Kick
    - The Dunk, The Taunt, The Technical
    - The UP win against Ateneo ( won me a free full tank from my friend, so hahaha )
    - Ateneo - La Salle (Cory Aquino Edition)

    - This year's Marata - Tampus (sige na lang) explosion against Ateneo
    - Jewel Ponferada's last shot against the Shocked Falcons
    - The 4th Quarter UST explosion against Ateneo this season

    On a side note:
    - Sen. **** Gordon swearing like a rap artist during an Ateneo - La Salle game
    - "Only Falcon"s" shall fly today"

Richard Gordon is just as fanatic or maybe even more than the most zealous of today's Blue Eagle Fans .. he's a BBB Alumni and was part of the memorable games of Ateneo in the NCAA back in the day. i used to work for the guy and he'd regularly share his colorful experiences back in the NCAA. i guess he was already like that then, he's still like that now, and as the saying goes, "somethings NEVER change"

now if you're looking for "Memorable UAAP Moments" .. just think of -- DAVID NYE

    off topic:
^ Now I know why coach Norman always imply that DEFENSE is their best asset. lol!

    on-topic:
one UP-UST baseball game at ninoy/rizal stadium (I forgot the name. Its the one near harrison plaza.) I also forgot what year it is but on that game, UST is gunning for another sweep championship and UP is 2nd seed. Its the most intensifying baseball game I've ever watched my entire life. I find no words to describe it.

    Memorable moments:

    Buenafe's dagger 3, Game 2, 2011 Finals.

BBB playing the Victory Song, and everyone swaying along even though we didn't know the lyrics

^ the first game that I watched live. UP vs UST in 05. Down in the final minutes but in a miraculous way, our team managed to snatch the victory. Still remember Abby Santos or it is Mica Vainio taking that three. Nagtatalon ako sa tuwa nung makuha namin kalamangan. Those where the days.

Mine was Buenafe's 3point dagger in Game 2 of the finals 2011. I can't believe that he took that shot when he can just drive the ball for higher percentage shot or even fish for a foul.

Damn namiss ko tuloy manuod ng UAAP games live nung andiyan pa ako sa Pinas...

Eto yung mga memorable moments na napanuod ko nang live:

    - Fonacier double-block on Cardona in Game 1 of the '02 Finals. Watching it live we didn't have the benefit of Mico Halili's classic commentary of that sequence), but it was still a one impressive defensive sequence I've seen.

    - UST's Game 3 OT victory in the '06 Finals over the heavily-favored Ateneo. Super-clutch effort by Duncil. (Nag-halfday pa ako sa work just to see this game, paying a scalper ticket, and I'm not even from both schools ).

    - From my team UP, bibihira lang memorable moments ng Maroons, but I remember the improbable 6-game winning streak in the '04 season that almost propelled them to the Final 4. UP was considered a pre-season darkhorse having considerable vets in the team (Marvin Cruz, Abby Santos, Nestor David, Cervantes, Jireh Ibanes) but they started the season 0-6, then racked up 6 straight beating NU, UST, UE, AdU, FEU, ADMU in succession but was stopped by DLSU in their crucial match-up that would decide the last team for the Final 4. UP finished at 7-7, DLSU at 8-4. I watched all of UP's games on that stretch live, and oh boy was it an exhilarating experience considering constant bottom-dwellers ang Maroons. The DLSU loss was heart-breaking, but that was the best I've seen the UP Maroons in all my years following the UAAP and I was quite proud of their effort that season.

Man, I remembered this also! I watched the game with the barkada. This was the first game of the season. UST has opened a comfortable lead in the last two minutes in an otherwise tightly-contested game. Nasabi ko na lang sa lady friend ko na di naman masyado basketball fan na "potek wala na 'to talo na", pero sabi niya "hindi kaya pa yan". I didn't believe her kasi I was I was the basketball guru among us, and I knew by experience na mahirap na habulin ang ganung lead in such a short time. But then the miracle happened, and the so-called basketball guru was PWNED. By a Lady. Who doesn't know much about basketball.

After ng game 1 ng DLSU vs FEU finals nung 2005.. mga bata.. matandang babae.. matatandang lalake nakikibato ng plastic bottles and coins sa FEU players and dinidirty finger sila while papasok na sila ng dug out after batukan ni Salgado si Santos.. may isang fan sa patron area sa tabi ng pasukan papuntang dug out ang hinatak palabas ng security personnel dahil nahuling nambabato ng plastic bottle or nandura yata.. then maya maya lumabas ulit ng dug out yung FEU team dahil nagkakagulo pala sa loob and nag aamok daw si Joseph Yeo.. while nag chicheer yung FEU supporters.. jinijeer sila ng kabila ng "bulok" and "squatter".. how ironic talaga yung events ng mga araw na yun..
