Oh wow sorry for not getting the years right Mr. Genius. Since you are so smart, maybe you should have put the correct years instead.

    Sus, talk about nitpicking.

And grabe din asaran and physicality ng players nun. I remember Jason Webb showing the middle finger in his two hands on national TV as he was slipping on the floor from a hard foul from Dennis Espino.

And those were very strong teams: La Salle had Tony Boy Espinosa, Webb, Tyrone Bautista, Elmer Lago, Allen Glenn Patrimonio, Maui Roca, Chris Tan, Cali John Orfrecio, Alvin Magpantay, Dominic Uy and Mark Telan among others. UST had Espino, Bal David, Edmund Reyes, Gerard Francisco, Chris Cantonjos, Dale Singson, Richard Yee, Patrick Fran and Estong Ballesteros.
IMO, the Ateneo-La Salle rivalry of today pales in comparison to the magnitude of the bloodshed of the La Salle-UST war. At present, love is in the air. The Yellow Jackets would trade cheers with the Animo Squad until the lights in Araneta go out.

yup & in the 3 straight years that they met in the finals, the series always reached game 3 & ust won by not more than 3pts. most memorable was the 1pt win by ust in 94 courtesy of bal david's 2 free throws.

erm, wrong again. james yap and the ue red warriors NEVER beat UST in the final four. wrong info perhaps?

The ADMU vs DLSU Game 5 last September 30, 2007..

The only time that I watched live where DLSU won against ADMU, and the first game that I watched live where DLSU won..

Got a gen-ad ticket for only 25 pesos, nagalit pa yung mga Ateneans sa likod ko kasi sumingit lang kami ng kapatid ko..

    Good:
-Ateneo coming back from 18 down to beat FEU during the 2nd round of season 72.
-Ateneo's revenge versus DLSU this season.
-Ateneo's WVT beating Adamson for the 3rd spot.

    Bad:
    -Ateneo's famous loss against UP.
-Ateneo losing to UE by 20 during game 2 of last year's finals.

some seasons ago, the game was suspended when the UE crowd started throwing water bottles towards the court during the UE-DLSU game in the Blue Eagle Gym. DLSU won the rematch

For me there are only 2 paired teams that I really enjoy watching in the UAAP:

    1. the UST-DLSU rivalry during the early 90s. i really enjoyed it especially during the finals between this 2 universities. grabe ang mga players, very physical and the students would really scream at the top of their lungs for their teams.

i think those were the years that talagang magagaling ang mga players. i'm not saying that yung mga players today are not good, but man! the players before was way much better! as in hindi ka mapapaupo kasi you will cheer from the very start till the end of the game!

    2. the rivalry of ADMU and DLSU. i think whenever this 2 universities face-off talagang ang unang masasabi mo is "let's get ready to rumble"! hehehehehehe!

    this

i could still remember that shot as if it was yesterday.

bacchus ledesma's homerun which won the uaap baseball crown for the green batters in the 1999-2000 season.

makes me wonder what the adamsonians who started seeing uaap action from 1997 to present feel when they face ateneo
