Johan is no stranger to the world of reality TV. He was able to join Starstruck, but was the fourth to be shipped out of the talent search. He stayed with the station for a few months after, averaging 24k in earnings per month. Unfortunately, his luck ran out yet again. Johan did continue to perform, but not on any screen. Without their own home, Johan had to work double-time as the family’s breadwinner, often staying in his workplace all day long. He used his talents to host restaurant gigs and sidelined as the resto’s waiter. Being quite a looker,he can boast of a fan base of sorts, a significant number of which coming from the gay community. Catherine Remperas “The Charming Babe” is a 22-year old nurse from Bohol. At first glance, Cathy appears to be a half-and-half, though born to Filipino parents. This Boholana is actually a native of Zamboanga, until her search for her father led her to finally settle in Bohol. Though the search was successful, the reunion was not quite as expected. They found their father with another family, where they have four half-siblings. This discovery hindered them from ever really mending their relationship. PBB’s Johan Santos admits Cathy Remperas is special

MANILA, Philippines - Itatampok ang isa sa mga umingay na love team na binubuo ng ex-Pinoy Big Brother housemates na sina Johan Santos at Cathy Remperas sa “Precious Hearts Romances Presents: Love Me Again.”

Matatandaang sa loob ng PBB house ay sinubaybayan kung mabubuo ang pagtatangi ni Johan kay Cathy subalit mas naging malapit ang dalaga kay Hermes Bautista.

Sa “The Buzz” noong Linggo, sa panayam kina Johan at Cathy ay mapapansing medyo maingat ang dalawa sa mga tanong hinggil sa estado ng kanilang relasyon pero sinabi ni Johan na sa loob ng bahay ay talagang gustong gusto niya si Cathy.

“Sa PBB gusto ko talaga siya, hanggang ngayon,” pag-amin ni Johan. “Special naman sa akin itong si Cathy. One of the favorites. Kumbaga siya ‘yong flavor on top.”

Tila nahihiya naman si Cathy sa pagkukuwento pero sinang-ayunan niya ang tinuran ng binata na sinabing they are enjoying each other’s company.

“Very sweet and a gentleman,” nang ilarawan ni Cathy si Johan.
Kinumpirma rin ni Johan na madalas silang mag-textan ni Cathy at kung may importanteng pag-uusapan nagtatawagan din naman. Aniya pa, hindi siya ang tipong mahilig magregalo subalit nagbibigay naman daw siya ng effort para kay Cathy.

“Hindi po ako ganoon nakakapagdala ng food para sa kanya pero ‘pag may something na may kailangan siya like gusto n’ya ng water sa tapings, binibigyan ko siya, sa taping day pinagsisilbihan, minsan PA (personal assistant) na nga po niya ako,” pagbibiro pa ni Johan.

Kasama rin sa teleserye sina Valerie Concepcion at Tom Mott.

SA loob pa lang ng Bahay ni Kuya, aminado na si PBB Double Up ex-housemate Johan Santos na matindi ang crush niya sa fellow ex-housemate na si Cathy Remperas.

Kahit pa nga umeksena si Hermes Bautista sa kanilang blooming love story, consistent si Johan sa pagpaparamdam sa dalaga kahit hanggang ngayong pinasok na nila ang showbiz at magkasama sa isang top-rating daily afternoon series Precious Heart Romances Presents Love Me Again kasama ang isa pang ex-housemate na si Tom Rodriguez at Wowowee host Valerie Concepcion.

Ayon kay Cathy, mas naaaliw siyang kasama si Johan ngayon dahil mas open na ito sa kanya. “I like being with him now because he’s nice and fun to be with. Wala kaming dull moments! Hindi na siya silent type tulad ng dati. Now, he’s mas madaldal, mas malambing, mas caring at mas thoughtful.”

Agree naman dito si Johan, “Mas open na kami ngayon. Nakakapagkuwentuhan at nakakapag-text kami nang madalas. Kung may problema siya or ako, nalalapitan namin ang isa’t isa.”

Maging sa trabaho, close na close na rin ang dalawa. “I actually like working with Johan. Sa acting, give and take kami. Expressive kasi ang eyes niya kaya madaling maka-react sa mga scenes namin.”
Dahil mataas ang ratings at maganda ang feedback ng Love Me Again nina Johan, Cathy, Valerie at Tom, extended pa ito ng two weeks.

Napapanood ang Love Me Again weekdays pagka-tapos ng PBB Teen Clash 2010 Uber sa ABS-CBN. Sa direksyon ito nina Ruel Bayani at Jojo Saguin.

Cathy Remperas on Johan Santos: 'Stronger at deeper na 'yung relationship namin ngayon'

ABS-CBN.com was at the last taping day of Precious Hearts Romances presents Love Me Again to interview featured star Cathy Remperas who she said that she was very happy to have her Pinoy Big Brother Double Up ka-love team Johan Santos as her leading man again. " Sa [Your Song presents] Isla kasi triangle kami dun with Hermes (Bautista).

Then nagulat ako na for this PHR pinag-partner uli kami ni Johan. I'm happy kasi makakatrabaho siya uli. I love working with him, acting with him because he's good in acting. Ang sayang isipin na marami kaming supporters, ' yung mga JoCath fans. Magkakaroon nga kami ng get-together party with them."

During their time in PBB, Johan was vocal about being attracted to Cathy, but fellow housemate Hermes was also harboring special feelings for the pretty Boholana nurse. Back then Cathy admitted that she was feeling more drawn to Hermes than Johan. However, because of PHR, Johan seems to have taken the lead in Cathy's affections. " Ang PBB kasi I wouldn't consider that a normal world.

Sobra siyang iba sa tunay na mundo na dito sa labas. Sa ngayon na palagi kaming magkasama, lagi siya ang nakikita ko, I think I can say na siya ang mas close sa akin ngayon."

But she denied that Johan took advantage of the opportunity of their PHR project to court her. " Hindi naman niya ako niligawan dito, ha ha ha! Mabait naman kasi talaga si Johan... char! Ha ha ha! He's a gentleman, sweet. He's a family-loving guy. Naririnig ko na matulungin siya sa family niya. That's so nice." Cathy only said that she and Johan grew much closer as friends after being together almost every day because of the taping.

"Stronger at deeper na 'yung relationship namin ngayon ni Johan kasi halos araw-araw kaming magkasama sa taping. Masaya kami."
ABS-CBN.com also asked for Cathy's reaction to the recent controversy involving a video scandal leaked over the Internet which allegedly featured Johan. As it turned out, the man in the malicious video was only a Johan lookalike.

Cathy joked, " Hindi niya nakwento sa akin. Talaga may video scandal daw siya? I want to see it, ha ha ha!" She nevertheless appealed for people to stop fabricating negative stories about her good friend Johan. "He's a good guy. Kapag hindi totoo ang mga chismis dapat hindi na nagpapaapekto.

Sa mga gumagawa ng mga chismis na hindi naman totoo, walang proof, tigilan na. Paninira na ng ibang tao 'yun. Kawawa naman, lalo na si Johan, sensitive pa naman 'yan. Let's all focus on positive things na lang. 'Wag na tayong manira ng iba."
