Q: If their lives "sucked", wouldn't that reflect on the country as a whole?

A: It doesn't. A lot of lives around the world "suck" even in the "choice" countries of people who migrate.

If the opportunities around the world aren't open for non-citizens there won't be any migration or contract workers. The big number of people trying out their luck outside the country just only means that there are a lot opportunities open for those who would like to try.

I was referring to people saw that their lives are not good, and saw no opportunity for themselves so they leave and go elsewhere. Of course there are other reasons why a life may suck like maybe it has become boring. What we are talking here is why the lack or absence of opportunities means the country sucks. You say there is no connection. But I would say "sucks" is just another way of saying "lacks opportunities".

You blame availability of jobs abroad on why large numbers of FIlipinos leave the country? Now imagine what happens to OFWs and the Philippine economy if those jobs suddenly disappear.

    really, it's about you.

be mature and deal with it.

we are trying to deal with it that's why we didn't waste our votes or sell our principles for selfish reasons, this country is going down the drain because there are those like you that refuse to deal with it.

How do you 'deal' with it? Saying 'we don't waste our votes or sell our principles' is not enough to say you are dealing with it. And dealing with what?

It's about time the government followed the constitution and enforced separation of church and state.
