inuubo po yung 1 month old daughter ko, its been going on for 3days na. hindi naman sya totally ubo na lagi lagi. wala din syang lagnat. dinala namin ni wife si baby sa OPD ng FEU Hospital. ang diagnosis nila Neonatal Pneumonia T/C Sepsis and gusto ng mga intern dun na iadmit na si baby. ang ginawa namin ni wife nagpasecond opinion po kami agad. dinala namin si baby sa family doctor namin who has been our doctor since mga bata pa kami ng mga kapatid ko. sabi ni doc hindi naman daw ganun kagrabe sakit ni baby, naguumpisa pa lang naman daw ang ubo nya, wala ding lagnat ang binigay lang sa amin vitamins para kay baby.

tama po ba ginawa naming magasawa na hindi ipaadmit si baby?

ganun po ba **** magdiagnose ang mga intern? kaya ako nagpasecond opinion kasi yung intern nagbabasa pa sa libro.

yun lang po.. salamat...

since we cannot see your child, I guess the safest answer to this is... you and your wife are the authorities on your child. And if you trust your family doctor explicitly, then just follow his instructions... just make sure to also watch out for other symptoms (in case nga the cough gets worse). When in doubt, go to another hospital for a 3rd opinion... or go back to the family doctor agad...

can I ask why you took your baby to the OPD of the hospital muna instead of your family doctor? Did the baby look really distressed?
