Post Were some of the scenes cut?

You know, now that I think about it.. parang hindi pinakita yung scene where Powell goes... "We could be partners..." and then Angelina Jolie goes, "You might try to kill me..."

    "I wouldn't kill you..."

    "I said you'd try.."

I watched it with the hunny this afternoon, and parang we both agreed that we didn't see that bit.

    Anyone notice that too?

Oh, and the ROBOTS NEVER TALK!! (At least the Robots in the SM Megamall theater never said, "Terminate Lara Croft...!" or "Lara's Party Mix!" )

None of those were shown in the actual film. Angelina never even asked "Have you ever heard of the Clock of Ages" which was pretty clear audio in the trailer. Guess they edited it strictly for trailers and not for the actual film.

yeah, my brother and i were wondering about that too! i think it was part of the scene in that long room in Venice, when he was telling her about her dad's involvement with the group. i guess the scene was too long and they decided to omit that part.

That's getting to be a nasty habit by those Hollywood movie makers.

They'll cut some of the scenes only to put them later sa DVD para maging mabenta siya.

Wala din yata yung scene doon where Lara said "This is where I'm starting to have fun."

And what's even worse eh, pag meron nang original copies ng VCD and VHS dito eh hindi mo pa rin makikita iyon edited scenes. Why? Kasi made in the Philippines lang lahat (almost) ng VHS, VCD, and even DVD na binebenta dito.

Viva (the distributor) of the TR film here won't give a damn in getting those edited scenes once the make the home video version of TR. Wanna bet?

Here's a piece of Trivia: The Uncut version of Titanic was 4 hours and 12 minutes, and you'll get it to see it only on DVD.

Some of my friends watch the film ang pangit...pangit daw ng story line at puro media hype lang ang TOMB raider totoo ba yun?

O marahil selos lang siya dun sa lead actress, dahil ang ganda nya?

From what I heard, the storyline of Final Fantasy the movie sucks. The thing that will carry the movie is its visual effects.

If that is true, then we should be proud our Lara's movie. It's storyline, although not impressive, is decent. Adding the action scenes and Jolie's portrayal of Lara, Tomb Raider may still be the best video game movie as of yet. But some say it's Mortal Kombat 1 raw, but that's their opinion. I'm not an MK fan anyway. But one thing's for sure--madaling maintindihan yung story ng TR movie.

    Thumbs down

I just saw the movie last night and it SUCKED big time. I love Angelina Jolie just as much as the next guy, but even she can't hold my interest after the first fifteen minutes. That's a good indication that there's definitely something wrong with this movie. Except for Angelina Jolie and her character (who was only mildly entertaining), everything else in this move was FLAT.

I should have just avoided this movie when I found out it was directed by Simon West. As far as I know, he's been putting out bad movies ever since he started with Con Air. Well at least he's consistent.
