The Bulldogs backed by Henry Sy have offered 5m php each to Arwind Santos’ mother and Joseph Yeo’s father, in order for them to get together and have children. They will sign a contract stating that any sons they have will be trained at N.U. High School before becoming an N.U. Bulldog. The 5m php fee will rise to 20m php each, depending on appearances, awards, and championship medals.

A N.U. spokesman has defended their controversial plan, claiming “everyone has been criticizing us for pirating players, and saying that we should concentrate more on producing our own talents”. It seems though that they may have misunderstood that concept as they appear to be taking it literally.

UAAP president Anton Montinola has responded by saying “we don’t really approve of genetically designed players, but unfortunately there is nothing in the rules to stop this. It could be the future of UAAP basketball”.

Arwind’s mother was very excited about the project. She claimed: “I'd given up hope of having any more kids, but I still have a few years left in me. The thought of producing the best basketball player is too good of an opportunity to pass up. Plus I hear that Joseph's father is very good looking!”

N.U. will be flying the parents of the talented duo to a luxury hotel in Baguio for a week every month, until Mrs. Santos becomes pregnant. This is great news for Smart Gilas fans as any sons that they have will be eligible to play for them.

It's unclear what will happen to any girls that are produced by this controversial experiment, although it is rumored that UST are said to be interested in signing them and making them part of their very famous Troll Team.
