Just a quick review of the movie:

This movie is incredible! I haven't actually read any of the books, but based on what I've seen from the advanced screening at MOA last night, this movie is EPIC!

Katniss is such a strong female lead, something that you don't see much in movies nowadays ( Bella Swan ). Gale is just so hawt! For someone who supposedly grew up in the poorest district of all, why does he look so clean and fierce all the time?

Costumes were amazing! All those quirky hats shamed the Royal Wedding...the movie will not wow you with visual effects, but the story telling and the sheer character building will.

Fave scene: Rue's death. Effin' destroyed me.

Can't wait for the next one!

i already know i'll be crying in that scene.

I'm watching again on Friday. If we didn't have a moderators' dinner tomorrow, I would have watched tomorrow also. Hahaha! And maybe I'll watch it again during the weekend?

I watched the Hunger Games at 12mn in Resorts World! I got a call from a fellow book fan and I just can't help it so I rushed to Resorts World! It was packed! I'm gonna watch it again tomorrow! I'm so excited (again!)

Never felt good about a movie adaptation. This is one of the few that got all praises!

at the MOA screening last night, whenever Peeta would come out in the scene with Katniss, people would go "yihiiiiiiiiiiiiii!" and then when Gale is shown biglang "awwwwwwwwww" it was so funny!

Yes! We felt that way din. I feel everyone's sympathy to Gale. I watched in Resorts World at 12 mn! Di ko na natiis! LOL

watched it yesterday!
nakakainis lang yesterday kasi i'm using Ensogo voucher, nakaindicate dun na 8pm start pero nag-start na 9pm!!!!hindi pa kami ininform..kung hindi pa nagtanong mga tao!..kala namin eh pinupuno pa ang sinehan!


as for the movie...
ok naman siya...i read the book..i love the fire effects dun sa costume ni Katniss and Peeta nung entrance nila..napaka ganda nung gown ni Katniss!

medyo nabitin lang ako sa scene ni Rue and Katniss...btw, ang cute ni Rue!

hindi ako tumitingin dun sa part na nagtakbuhan na sila sa item na mga kailangan nila nung first day nila sa arena...parang ang hirap panoorin nun..kasi patayan talaga (maarte lang?hehe)...

I cried! As in ugly cry in the cinema. I love how they put together the scenes in the arena and in District 11! Brilliant!

I'm afraid ganito nga magiging reaction ng mga fresh viewers. Hindi talaga nila maiintidihan.

Boring nga on some parts. Especially sa first 30 minutes.

The first parts of the film is building the characters and what they are going through. In the book, it's not that exciting but it is really depressing. The highlight talaga is the battle in the arena.

reading the book right now, para maintindihan ko iyong libro, dahil for sure, maraming ma-eedit, and right now.. I'm loving the book! nasa Chapter 3 na ako!

I feel so left out because I havent seen it yet. Pero babawi ako kasi 3 consecutive days ko papanoorin with diff. group of friends.
