No, i think 1 of the requirements eh ang license. pero kahit walang experience at all, pwede. as long as you have a license. .

Hi To all, thanks sa forum na to medyo nagka idea ako what its like to be a company nurse, kasi ive been planning din to be one, kaso hindi sa isang construction company, di ko alam kung ano yun umm the company is called RUSTANS alam ko isa yung parang high class department store hahaha kasi yung tita ko nag wowowrk dun and sabi sakin try ko na din daw, so mejo na tempt ako, nakakailang pply na din kasi ako sa call center no luck padin so try ko dun hahaha sa, anyway ano ba mga ma aadvice nyo na unahin ko? May ivt nako and balak ko kuuha ng BLS this month sa red cross, ok lang ba kahit sa red cross lang? And after that siguro BOSH na, ok lang ba na ganito ang gawin ko?

Nope, try to type OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH NURSE sa google may mga nagaapear and as much as possible pasa lang kayo sa various construction companies, as long as we have a construction boom here in the country sure yun na continuous ang hiring.

OHNAP Davao Chapter conducts BOSH Training if umaabot ng 30-40 ang participant.

Will try my luck sa Occupational Nursing. Gusto kong maging nurse talaga pero ayokong mag-hospital.

Anyway, just want to ask dun sa mga Company Nurse ngayon, may clear path ba sa inyong career on what to do after in the company na pinagtatrabahuan niyo. For example 2 years or so na kayong company nurse, may promotion ba? Head nurse? Or HR-related promotion perhaps?

Actually yes there is a promotion kung yun company na pinag woworkan mo kung marami kayo na nurses (eg. Construction, HMO provider, Oil rig, etc.) and as for the promotion minsan there is such thing na you get promoted in terms of salary increase kasi may head nurse na so what usually happens is that the company increases your salary nalang.

And I guess I will be joining the BOSH Training in CDO! Done with my BLS-ACLS, IVT by June 15-17, then BOSH.

What happens in a BOSH Training? Is it purely lecture lang or merong nga hands-on/skills test na kailangang gawin?

Starting salary in our company is 12,000. Now I'm earning 14,600/month gross.

I've been working here for 3 years now.

Entry level nurse: PhP 13,500 basic plus PhP 3,000 allowance plus you get to have unli overtime
Benefits would be the usual din like 13 month pay, Christmas bonus, 15 days sick leave and 15 days vacation leave, Profit sharing upon project completion.
