Premium Outlet is just 10mins away from the strip. Sales tax is 8.1% versus 9%+ in california.

2 thumbs up Cirque "Mystere" @ Treasure Island. It's a safe pick

I also wanted to watch Lion King for the kids, but I ran out of time

you may also want to google "deuce bus" it's a double decker bus from the strip all the way to freemont (downtown).. madadaan nya rin yung premium outlet.. may few blocks na lakaran lang..

i actually highly recommend to use this bus tapos dun ka sa taas ng bus papuntang freemont..

You need to visit the State Parks in Vegas and the National Parks in Utah and Arizona if you are staying 5 days more for sightseeing.

Grand Canyon West is closer around 2 1/2 hour drive, Grand Canyon South Rim is around 5 hour drive. Zion National Park in Utah is around 2 1/2 hour drive. All nice parks to visit. It will be the Fall Season when you visit so it is definitely nice in Utah and colder.

In Vegas, Red Rock Canyon is interesting to visit and is only 30 minutes from the Strip. If you want to see a Wild West Town (recreated) visit Bonnie Springs Ranch also by Red Rock Canyon. Afterwards do visit Red Rock Resort, a beautiful resort near the entrance to Red Rock Canyon, a local place. Valley of Fire State Park is 1 hour away. Both Red Rock Canyon and Valley of Fire are beautiful parks worthy of a visit.

Sometime in October, I think October 16 they will open the Mike O'Callaghan-Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge to foot traffic. The bridge is brand new and not yet open but for this day it will be open for pedestrians. If you are in the area do visit it. A beautiful bridge with a great view of the Hoover Dam and the Canyons beyond.

After your visit at Hoover Dam head on to Boulder City, a charming small city, more like a small town if you ask me or you can visit Lake Las Vegas. Lake Las Vegas is busier during the weekend. Not to be confused with Lake Mead. Lake Las Vegas is a community with a shopping village. The area is slow during the weekdays.

Back on the Strip, I love Town Square-Las Vegas make sure you visit it. If you want to watch a movie, RAVE Theaters is one of the best in Vegas you can't missed it in Town Square. The Premium Outlet is in Downtown Las Vegas, nice shopping area, do visit the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health for some photo ops. It is directly across from the outlet mall. It also has a nice small garden. The Clark County Government Center is also in the area in front of the outlet mall, another photo op.

Visit the Las Vegas Springs Preserve for a few hours, worth it if you like exhibits, gardens......

Shows, I like the Blue Man Group and of course you have the Cirque shows.

Buffet, M Resort is one of the best in Vegas. Dining options in Vegas are superb, the 24 hour Cafes serve decent meals for less money.

Overall shopping experience in Vegas is World Class and you get all variety. As far as hotels, I like Mandalay Bay also connected to the Luxor and Excalibur via a monorail.

I love City Center public art pieces, it is all over the place, world class!!!Painting, sculptures, art gallery.......The desserts at Jean Philippe Patisserie is delicious. In City Center, lots of photo ops, make sure you explore ARIA, beautiful hotel.

guys, questions lang. what are the things na cheap sa vegas when compare here in manila? like bags, shoes, sunglasses??

where do i find a souvenir shop?

  10. #50
I don't think it'll be cheaper but the quality of the merchandise is better. Souvenir shops are all over, including the airport. You can always check the sale racks, it is always discounted generously, especially the summer merchandise since you will be here during the Fall season.

Just got back from Vegas and daytime temps for the past weekend was in the mid to high 90s but the evening temps were in the mid 70s. Perfect for walking in the strip.
I'd say temperature would be perfect by the time you get here.

^ thanks for the info! im really excited

I've been a resident in Vegas for almost 24 years. The weather is starting to cool off now during the last few days of summer. Comfortable daytime and night time temperatures. Even mid-afternoon is pleasant.

Guys...up ko lang! more tips and info?! TIA!

^^There is a fashion show every Fri, Sat and Sunday if I'm not mistaken at the Fashion Show Mall on the Strip, I just dont have the schedule. I have seen it in the past, interesting. The runway is hidden and it gets lifted out from the floor of the mall when the show is about to start. Unique really. RA Sushi Bar at the mall's entrance is one of the best in Vegas, delicious.

Jabbawockeez got signed up at the Monte Carlo for an extended time. I heard it was a good show. Their previous shows at the MGM were all a hit so the management at Monte Carlo Resort signed the group as headliners for the resort's showroom.

I go to vegas at least 4-5x a yr and never akong nagsawa! Im sure ull enjoy ur vacation. Magastos nga lang ang vegas lalo na pag sugarol ka! Hahaha! If u want to save money pwede ka na **** 3 stars hotel, you wont be staying in ur room anyweiz. Nasa gitna ng strip eh flamingo, harrahs, ballys. Monte carlo is nice too and affordable sya. Pero kung carry mo gumastos ng malaki edi dun ka na sa mahal! Hehehe! They dont care kung ilan kayo sa room **** 2 person lang ang idisclose mo pag nagcheck in ka. But kung mrami kyo dont say kung ilan talaga kc baka magcharge ***. **** maglakad lakad kyo mageenjoy na kyo! Pasukin nyi lahat ng hotel, i suggest caesars, venetian, palazzo and luxor! Sa buffet i recommend yung buffet sa M hotel, $35/person ata pero unlimited beer and wine. I used to love rio buffet pero nag sawa narin ako, hehehe! Sa shopping dont ever shop in the hotel! Go to the outlet! There's 2 outlets there, one indoor and one outdoor. Mas maraming store sa outdoor and its located sa north ng strip, yung indoor eh sa south ng las vegas blvd naman. May jolibee, goldilucks and chowking din dun just in case gusto nyo talaga makasave pero off the strip sya, di **** malayo! Madalu lang ang tranpo to go around. Yung attire naman, sobrang init ngayon dun. Kahapon lang 106 degrees, i dont know about next month though! No body cares *** anong suot mo dun, minsan nga naka pj lang ako nung naglaro ako sa table that i was bcoz bibili lang dapat *** ng kape eh bigla kami napaupo sa table. Hehehe! Pero im talking about kung same hotel ka lang, syempre magcasual or summer attire ka pag lalabas kayo. I suggest do all ur walking at night para hindi mainit coz when its hot there, its worst compare sa pinas, seriously! Watch the free show sa labas ng treasure island and bellagio! Mas masaya pumunta ng new yr dun, they closr the whole strip for the count down then may fireworks. Enjoy ur vegas trip! It'll be fun! That's my favorite place on earth kc when ur in vegas nobody cares who u are and u can be who u wanna be!

Punta pala kayo sa lake mead, pwede kayon mag jetski dun and tanaw mo na hover dam from there kaso nga lang from below ang view nyo, hehehe! After clubbing or if ur still awake after 12am and nagutom kayo, go to tuscany suites, inside is the marilyn cafe. They have $3.99 steaks and eggs! It comes w/ hashbrown and toast, mabagal nga lang ang service but masarap naman and mura! Wala yun sa menu, just say steaks and eggs pero be sure after 12am kasi yun time lang nila inooffer ang special na yun, siguro until 5-6am, otherwise $12.99 ang regular price niya. If u wanna gamble, dont play at palazzo kasi mahal ang minimum dun, basta dont ever gamble sa bibigating casino or else hindi tatagal ang pera mo dun and when you play, mag order ka narin ng cocktails or any drinks mo from the table or slots, magtitip ka lang naman ng $1 dollar ok na yun, solve ka pa kasi malalasing ka, hahaha!

  19. #59
^ wow! thanks for the informations! i really appreciate it. will take down notes. im staying at palazzo by the way

  20. #60
Connected ang palazzo and venetian, ganda picture taking sa venetian! If uve been to venetiab macau its the exact same thing.
