Mukhang sure na yung NU gym s MOA nakita ko yung proposed structure and maganda ***.. Dun daw gagawin opening ng UAAP on 2012 since NU ang host. Ive also read an article sa net although hndi ako sure s credibility... FEU bought the building of PSBA, active dormitory and seaman's review center, and all the properties in front of PRC na katabi ng old gym of FEU...

More than the facility upgrade, its the quality of education that needs a major overhaul for NU.

I heard this one from TAMbayan. Sobrang dumadami na ang improvements ng FEU. Thanks to our Alumnus (Henry Sy from FEU).

nasa proseso na yan... wayback 2008 ang ginagamit ng curriculum ng NU ay curriculum ng asia-pacific college though for IT related courses only... pero as of 2009, 60% adapted ang curriculum ng dlsu

SM ARENA siguro ang pinaguusapan dito sa MOA Complex, infront of SMX near the church, SM Department Store side...hindi ito isang panaginip...SM will soon have a coliseum called "SM ARENA". 2012 ang target completion date its a world class coliseum and much bigger than Araneta Coliseum...maybe UAAP will use it since SM own NU...pwede rin dito ang PBA, it is also a good venue for concerts...malapit din kasi ito sa ginagawang entertainment city manila or bagong nayong pilipino...who nows baka ganapin din dito ang isang pre season game ng NBA...walang vision si Mr. Henry Sy Sr. na hindi natutupad na maganda para sa mga PINOY!

Tinatanong mo pa lang, buo na ang plano. The Arena will be ready in time for the hosting of NU.

Whether DLSU or ADMU brings in more souls in the Coliseum is not a function of distance from the school. It isn't even a function of distance at all. The games are played normally on Sundays. There is a battle to get the uncommitted tickets (now held by Araneta and the scalpers). The school who has more resolve to win this brings more fans into the stadium.

How different is it from now? Do you think Chinoys are prevented to watch the games at the Araneta? Do you think Chinoys do not have the motivation to cheer for their school if the venue is in Araneta? Is SM Mall of Asia located in China?

The Araneta Coliseum was world class when it hosted The Thrilla in Manila.

20% of the tickets + SRO are given to Araneta as negotiated with the UAAP. The 80% is with the 4 schools playing in each play date. This forms part of the rental payment to Araneta.

I hope Henry Sy accedes to giving 100% of the tickets to the schools. At this point, UAAP is powerless to negotiate since the Araneta Coliseum is currently the largest in the country. The Ultra and the other indoor stadia are smaller, not well kept, and very inconvenient for fans.

Having an alternative like the SM Arena would give the UAAP some leverage to negotiate better terms vs. Araneta.

    1) I did a poor research, sorry

    2) some don't

    3) you have a point, but we need to see the outcome still (ADMU vs DLSU)

    4) I joked on this one, no need to argue
