yes, you can tell the guide(s) not to flip the raft.

PFD must fit snugly to avoid the problem above even though they don't know how to swim.

Listen carefully to the briefing and follow the guide's instructions.

Thank you for the replies - irishman12, aicute, bisayadakoo.
Actually, I have 2 middle-aged women who will be coming with me and they dont know how to swim plus they get nervous eventhough they have life jackets.

Can anyone help me with my itinerary and see if its feasible to do the following:

1st day - arrival in CDO at 8:35 am. We plan to go straight to Camiguin. I assume it will take the whole morning to travel to Camiguin. Is it possible to have a 1/2 day Camiguin tour in the afternoon?

2nd day - Camiguin white island till 10:00am then leave for CDO. Is it possible to have a white water rafting in the afternoon. What time mag start wwr in the afternoon? Makakayanan ba namin yung oras kung 10:00am ang alis namin from Camiguin

3rd day - Bukidnon ziplining. How many hours travel from CDO to Bukidnon. The only activity we have in mind is ziplining only, can we do a tour here? Our flight back to CDO-Manila is at 8:40 pm pa.

    More questions:
    - How do we go to Camiguin from CDO airport?
    a) Approximate travel time
    b) Transportation rates good for 6 pax

    - Is it possible to have the WWR and Ziplining package in 2 separate days, or kailangan gawin sila pareho in 1 day? Dun sa package kasama na ba transportation (wwr-ziplining and vise-versa) and food like lunch or snacks? How much would it cost?

Sorry, I have to ask these questions. Somethings wrong with my PC ang bagal so it takes time to back read. Hoping for your consideration and your replies is very very much appreciated. Thank you.

Why don't you just do WWR and zipline on your first day? Mga rafting company nag-ooffer naman ng package at since 6 pax naman kayo. Pwede naman syang gawin in 2 separate days pero mas ma-maximize nyo ang time nyo if you do it in one day.

They can pick you up pa from the airport then go straight ahead to the rafting site since mas malapit na sya kung galing ng airport.

Hi gabzki, thank you for the suggestion. Sabi nila it takes 3-4 hours ang wwr, so aabot ba kami sa scheduled rafting if 8:35am ang dating namin sa airport? How about ziplining, how many hours from cdo-bukidnon? Can we do all the ziplining and/or other activities that afternoon? Do you suggest that we stay there (Bukidnon) for the night or should we go back to CDO that afternoon also to prepare for a very early trip to Camiguin in case we choose this option?

    Hello margaux.
    Suggestion ko lang to ha.

1st day - arrival in CDO at 8:35 am.
Kung pupunta kayo sa camiguin, halfday tour lang magagawa niyo, hindi niyo maeenjoy yung tour! sayang naman!

I would suggest, rest nalang kayo sa Hotel then you get the afternoon WWR nalang ng Kagay (im not part of them but i would recommend them, they can pick you up sa Hotel niyo! meron din silang package ng wwr and ziplining) kaso mainit so dont forget to wear long sleeves.

2nd day - punta kayo ng camiguin.. here's how. share ko nalang din.
    cagayan de oro - camiguin
you get to enjoy 7 spots pa! for an entire day of "wet city tour"

3rd day- go kayo sa white island for swim swim, visit kayo sa factory ng pastel tapos lunch kayo sa lagoon! sarappp!!! balik kayo ng cagayan de oro, mga hapon nasa cdo na kayo, 8:40 pm flight niyo so dapat 6:40 nasa airport na kayo!

I've suggested that you do it in one day since 6 pax kayo which is usually a minimum number to avail a WWR-Zipline package. When you get a package, that means you can start your rafting activity anytime (since exclusive kayo).

If you get the Beginner's course for WWR, actually more or less 2 hours lang sya (based on my experience). CDO-Bukidnon is about 1.5 hours. Actually mabilis lang ang zipline...mas mahaba pa yung byahe kesa the actual ziplining

You arrival is a bit late but then naka-package kayo and kayo may control ng time nyo. Package includes the transpo and most likely exclusive ang van sa inyo so you can decide to leave for Bukidnon agad once you're done with WWR. You can go back naman to CDO after the zipline (take note, kasama ang round trip transpo sa package so sayang naman) kahit medyo late na kayo makabalik.

Just try to contact one of the rafting companies who can personalize this type of tour for you. You can contact Kagay (we didn't use them but sila yung my package na nakalagay sa website nila; we used Bugsay but not sure if they offer a package):

ako nahulog sa raft and i can't swim. hindi naman on purpose na tinaob ang raft. nag-jolt lang bigla because of the current. timing na hindi ako nakahawak sa handle kaya nahulog ako.

ang importante lang don't panic and listen sa briefing.

also, kahit ano mangyari pag nasa rapids na, hawak sa handle or sa rope. don't let go kahit sabihin ng guide na mag-paddle.

    this is my story

    1. Any feedbacks about Miami Inn?
    2. Is there anyway to see or even take a glimpse of the whitewater,
in case my companions are too scared to try it?
    Thanks in advance.
