Lumbia Airport sits atop a plateau and therefore has a lower cloud ceiling but pilots do not seem to have a problem with that.

Cebu Pacific planes in to the city about 12x times a day, PAL about 7 times a day and AirPhil about 5 times a day from MLA, CBU and DVO and I guess some other smaller planes do land there, too. There have been no major accidents recorded involving commercial airplanes' actual landing or take-off from that airport.

The WWR rates is regulated by the CDO gov't. See the standard rates here;

That P700 WWR is from Mambuaya to Kabula. That's about 3 hours of WWR fun. If you prefer the put-in at the upstream section then you'll pay extra....like from P1000 and so on. Each outfitter have their own packages like WWR + Food, etc.

The ZIP line rates at Dahilayan Adventure Park, I think, has gone up due to it's popularity and no competition for now. See their website here and their rates too;

The Dahilayan Adventure Park monopoly will be tested soon because there is a new project, an 800m zipline, that will be built just a few minutes drive from Kabula take-out. So we'll see what happens.

After your WWR you can also do Zorbing at the Kabula take-out.

The terrain of CDO is hilly perfect for MTB rides. A lot of route options very close to the CBD. And you can return to the CBD by the end of the day and chill-out in a cafe or restaurant after a long ride.

Today, the kids went to the Philippine Ostrich and Crocodile Farm in Malanang, Opol and at the Opol Aviary at Taboc Opol, this city (CDO). I was with them and I had fun as much as they did.. Below are some of today’s photos..



It was quite a very exciting learning experience for all of them, and even us parents.I got to brush up on Science as well as relearn those that I have already forgotten. What I love most is the fact that there are new information I have gathered and I feel really good about having experienced all of them with Lili and River. It is really different if your kid grows up without you. It is much better to have fun and learn new things with kids, that way, they will always appreciate the moment you spent time just to be with them in a very exciting journey..

Been there twice....first noong 2006... second,just last week!
Nice a very good city..mura ang hotel accomodation...mura ang bilihin...and most importantly the people are very kind, courteous and hospitable..Good time to visit the City i every weekend doon sa may divisoria where pasar malam(night market) is held every friday to sunday!

Cant wait to bring my wife there..

may half day pa ko na pd maglibot, since 4pm pa flight namin.

The Croc Farm is in Opol. You will pass Opol if you are going to El Salvador. But the farm in NOT along the hi-way.
