read moreKuya danny, sa citisec ba pag bumili ng stocks, may dividends din?
If the stocks you bought through Citisec pay out dividends, you should receive the cash or shares.
how would i know if the stocks i bought pays out dividends??
sino ang stockbroker ko pag bumili ako stocks sa citisec?
Nakakahiya yung Portfolio ko eh.
But I have TEL. Kakapurit na shares ng TEL.hehe
Guys, sorry for being noob with Citisec.
I was also trading before in SGX (Singapore) and plan to have account with Citisec. I have few questions to those experts in Citisec:
1. What is the step-by-step procedure of applying account?
2. How long the process of application will take?
3. Do I need to apply in-person? (I'm staying overseas kasi).
4. What bank do I need to open that is linked to Citisec?
5. If my main purpose is to buy stocks for long term investment (and not trading), how much is the minimum amount (in PhP) should I shell out?
Kasi in SGX I never tried buying stocks (for leng term hold), nagte-trade lang ako through T+7. Thanks sa mga magrereply.

Mga sir, halimbawa po iwi-withraw mo na yung fund mo sa COL, do you really need to come to their office to pick-up the check? Or pwedeng ipa-deposit ko na lang sa bank account ko? TIA..

@ Sisko / Shalala - thanks for the reply. Do I still need to indicate that in the withdrawal form or pwede na syang i-instruct through phone? And in case may inter-branch fee, ibabawas na lang ba nila sa fund mo yun?
you still have to fillup their withdrawal forms and send it thru fax.
meron sila cutoff before 12nn ata para the next day ang crediting sa account mo.lam ko wala inter-branch fee kasi deposit nila cheque din.subject for clearing yun.kung BDO account mo lam ko cleared na kagad yun.
Hi shalala! Thank you! Pa-kiss..ummwaaah!
However, I have additional questions:
1. Anong difference or should I say limitations of EIP compared with COL?
2. If my main intention is to buy stocks from IPO and Blue chips (rather than trading), how would I inform Citisec about it?
Kasi sa trading, you don't need to shell out 100% of the total share price right but you have limited time to hold it (let's say 5 to 7 days).
I want some shares that I can own or perhaps hold it for years. Tapos yung pwede din ako mag cost-averaging if necessary.
Thanks ulit sa mga sasagot.
