Oo na pala, yang ROHM sa Cavite, notorious yan sa pagpapahintay ng aplikane. Final inteview ko, ang appoinment ko ay 9 Am...pero nainterview na kami 6 PM na...partida...Sabado pa yun, ha?!

I've applied at Amkor, Onsemi, Cypress and Maxim.
Amkor. OK naman ang HR approachable, friendly, laging nakasmile.. so far wala namang problema. ang prob lang is mukhang wala silang opening for tech ngayon.

Onsemi. this is where i had my ojt. ok din ang HR. kilala ko na kasi. mejo mabagal lang talaga sila mgprocess ng application at wala updates.

Cypress. duguan ang exam dito (para sakin) walang prob sa HR. approachable naman kasi mejo bata pa.

Maxim. where i am waiting already for almost 2months . ok din ang HR approachable, kaso wala din updates. di ko na alam nangyari sa application ko last june15 pa un. nakakadepress. pero i am applying na sa ibang company. naovercome ko n din.

AFAIK these industries are good HR in terms of hiring. The setback is when your'e hired you need to be a brick wall in terms of stress.

Yung HR pala ng mga Semicon industry may association kaya alam nila ang mga dapat ayusin within their companies

By the way the pay is good on this industry.

True may association sila at magkakakilala sila... That's why i really kept on pursuing to be hired in a semicon company kasi nandito *** field of work ko. Kaso ang hirap pala talaga..

I'm surprised walang SMART sa list. HR nila paghihintayin ka ng matagal. Yung mga nakasabay ko na 10am nga, inabutan pa ng lunch break. Good thing I got interviewed nung 11am and my friend after me. And, ilan beses siya nag answer ng calls and text while interviewing me.

hello would you mind if i ask what company are you working now? i've read several forums here and i notice that you are very active. You have comments in most of the companies that i'm trying to apply and passed mostly all of the tests and interviews but choose not to work there because of several reasons.

with that i'm guessing that you're working with a pretty decent company right now.
i'm a fresh graduate and still searching for the company that may suits me well. hope you can help.

I agree. Me too. I walk out if I don't get interviewed in an hour.

Interviewers should be professional enough to respect your time especially if you know that you are very qualified for the job.

What IBM to be exact? ISD? Business Services? or Daksh?

Ok naman sila nung nag apply ako sa ISD, always on time and schedule and they even informed me of the status of my application. Anyways I'm not working here pero maganda naman mga feedback na nakuha ko.

Nag-try ako mag-apply sa Amkor, umabot ako sa contract signing, grabe ang HR dito! almost 7 hours ako pinaghintay! tapos ang liit ng offer, 22k... not even close to my asking rate (that was year 2008)... Sa subrang inis ko I turn down the offer...

emerson's hiring process sucks nga, kasi naglagay ka na nga nung position na gusto mu aplayan, ipapasok ka pa dun sa ibang never heard positions.at ang tagal ng waiting time for interview considering na may interview schedule ako sa kanila.

i like JP Morgan kasi professional yung mga HR nila, very courteous pa.

i have a very different experience with Emerson. ang bilis nga eh, maybe i'm just a perfect fit for the job and stuff.

bad thing is, ang baba ng offer nila. it's like demeriting your experience.

i don't want to divulge info any further though, to give justice to how they treated me.
