I know some IT consulting company (American and Indian owned), pero hindi ko alam kung QA/Software Tester ay kailangan nila... marami kasing ganyan dito at hindi ganoon ka demand ang position na yan. Try mo yong Dice.com or Monster.com to find out kung ano mga company na nangangailangan. sana makatulong ako kahit papaano....

I'm very happy to see this thread, I have questions too regarding H1B visa.

I applied for an IT job, My Employer filed my application last April 1, 2010. No news nor status nor letter heard / received from them since then. Until last week, i believe it's uscis or labor who've called the attorney and just ask about my job description.

Question:
1.) What stage am i at? am i just at the beginning of the process?
2.) During the visa interview, will the consul look for any IT certifications like MSCE, CCNA CompTIA etc..?
3.) What do you think are my chances since I just worked for 3 years as an IT with no certifications? I'm a bachelor's degree holder though.

are you a java developer? i could recommend you to my current company ( the one who sponsored my visa ). and luckily if you are a java developer, the company that i'm working right now ( client ) is looking for some java developers. so i guess baka makatulong lang naman ako.
