Went to Canada in between my last US visit, so I already encountered Homeland Security officers in Toronto. Since I only declared an 8-day stay when I entered Canada, my 6-month I-94 card from when I first entered the US wasn't detached.

Only one question at Toronto, my purpose of entering the US. I said I was taking my flight back to the Philippines. Didn't even ask for proof of my ticket, or when I was flying back.

depende yan kung ano yong nakalagay sa Birth certificate mo. Kadalasan sa Pinas yong middle name ay mother's maiden last name. Bukod doon ay yong nakalagay sa passport mo.

yun last time ko, sabe saken, "people your age, theyre the ones who dont come back."....

Lol.. Last year i went to the US finger print lang.. walang picture.. that's why im wondering.. anyway, we'll see pagbalik ko ng US this december kung pipicture-ran din ako.. thanks anyway

^ They'll only do the patdown if you set off the metal detector. Never naman nag-beep sa akin yung metal detector, so tuloy-tuloy lang ako parati.

Pero na-full body scan ako sa Newark. Creepy.

Pero lahat goes through passenger assessment or "profiling"
FYI: passenger assessment includes the person's behavior, how the person looks, the way he answers questions and is it consistent with the documents na hawak niya. It's a complicated process pero sanay na diyan ang mga Immigration Officers. Minsan isang tanong pa lang alam na nila kagad kung doubtful ang purpose ng isang tao.
Now for those working on a tourist visa, think twice kasi kahit ano pang justification ang sabihin niyo it is still against the law. Nasisira tuloy image ng mga Filipinos kasi we always think na we can get away with it. Siguro yung iba were just lucky to get away with it pero sooner or later mahuhuli din kayo.

im sorry but people like you are the reason why some Filipinos are having a hard time getting a US Visa. Kahit mga purpose lang talaga is mag vacation, nahihirapan padin. Tourist Visa lang ang hawak mo, hindi ka dapat nagtatrabaho dun. Kulang nalang is sumama ka sa mga hinayupak na TNT dun!

This is one example of Pinoys who doesn't understand the economic times.

The reason that Pinoys get denied of tourist visa is purely economics. The US gov't knows they can make more money by denying you of a tourist visa because they know you will pay reapply and pay the fee again.

And Pinoys blame their kapwa Pinoys if they want to recover the cost in going to the US. Here's a classic Pinoy with crab mentality.

He then gave me 6 months of stay =)
