Okay, for those of you with
legitimate concerns....
Usual question would be "What's your purpose of visit?" Assuming you have a B1/B2, it's just either "business" or "vacation". You'll be asked how long you intend to stay, of course. You may also be asked where you're staying (hotel, or if you have relatives in the US), or if you plan to travel elsewhere in the US, like on the opposite coast. You may also be asked about your occupation in the Philippines, especially if it's your first time in the US.
I've been to the US three times in the last three years, with either my family or just by myself. NEVER asked about money or credit cards. If your passport also has all your stamps from your Asia travels, you likely won't have to worry about "show money". Even if we say we're only staying for 3 weeks, we always get approved for 6 months. Always there for vacation, so documents were never asked too.
When I went alone (I'm a single young female, so I know it's a high-risk profile), aside from the usual, I was asked how many times I've been to the US previously, and how long was my longest stay.
When I was with my family, we were also asked if we were all leaving on the same day. The kids were also asked if school was still ongoing. We also declared over $10k of cash at customs without any fuss.
We just got three questions the last time: Purpose of travel, length of stay, and if we were all flying out together. Because we have a good record.
