you can make your own Android application with Google's App maker. no programming skills needed!

Google launches Android App maker tool for non-coders
July 12th, 2010 by Gaurav Shukla

Google has released Android App Inventor tool that “makes it easy for anyone to create apps for Android phones”. App Inventor lets people drag “blocks” of code around to create applications. The graphical blocks represent the different functions and capabilities of a smartphone.

    watch the video here

    According to Google:

To use App Inventor, you do not need to be a developer. App Inventor requires NO programming knowledge. This is because instead of writing code, you visually design the way the app looks and use blocks to specify the app’s behavior.
The App Inventor team has created blocks for just about everything you can do with an Android phone, as well as blocks for doing “programming-like” stuff– blocks to store information, blocks for repeating actions, and blocks to perform actions under certain conditions. There are even blocks to talk to services like Twitter.

A Gmail account is required for anyone wanting to use the tool and users must apply via a approval web form.

both htc and galaxy use androids, diba? so... pareho lang ang interface nila, ganon?

  3. #23
    ^nope

HTC has HTC Sense while Samsung has Touchwiz. Others have their own version of custom interface's. iba iba yan depende sa hardware ng phone at sa maker na rin mismo, pero ang default interface ng Android ay yung Vanilla which the nexus one uses. kaya laging nauuna ang nexus one sa updates dahil wala nang interface na kailangan "i-edit" para magamit sa phone unlike other phones with custom UI na inaabot ng ilang months bago makapag-update sa pinakabagong version ng Android. pero hopefully kapag ine-release ng Google ang Android 3 aka Gingerbread at the end of the year e di na maging problema ang paiba ibang UI ng mga cellphone companies.

^^ magkaiba kasi HTC has sense UI while galaxy use touchwiz UI, pero pwede naman baguhin yun, dami pwede gawin para maiba yung UI mo

^ Brand specific differences for HTC ( which has HTC sense ) and Samsung Galaxy S ( which has Touchwiz ) even if they both run Android.

Madali naman ma-identify yung mga apps that need data connection. Kung social networking, map tracking, video/audio streaming, augmented reality, at multiplayer games, it will require internet connection.
