* speed-up the ball rotation
* hit the open jumpers (especially from the rainbow)
* play solid team defense

* play as a team (hermosisima please pass the ball)

i'm sure that there's more than meets with that story. knowing how XXX sensationalizes things, for me that's no longer journalism. its a tv show that takes advantage of the filipino's enchantment with good vs evil and rich vs poor stories.

on topic, if nu can minimize their turnovers they will have the edge against ust, after watching their first four games the bulldogs halfcourt defense is solid and as such i think they can contain ust's outside sniping, its their transition defense which suc*s bigtime, so if the bulldogs turn the ball over many times during this game expect teng and mariano to have a layup fest.

on the other hand, ust needs to mix their offense up, they should do more than just having fortuna, teng and bautista chuck up 3 pt attempts one after the other. on defense, be wary of jewel ponferrada on the weak side, i just have a feeling with ust's shortage of big men and the extra attention mbe will be getting nu's starting power forward will find himself free underneath the goal for easy layups - provided that he uses his head properly and refrain from giving cheapshots here and there.
