TATAY: wala pa plaka eh, pwede pa pagusapan?

nyahahaha.. I read this anecdote in another forum.

you think getting a new plate is taking too long? try applying for a DUPLICATE plate. grabe.. 3 years na wala pa rin ang plaka ng kapatid ko.

Dapat siguro bigyan na lang nila ng authority ang major car dealers to make the plates. Less than 10 lang naman siguro dito sa Pilipinas, so even inter-connectivity would not be a problem. Bakit wala makaisip noon?

LoL, sa states, the plates are already available pagka bili mo palang ng sasakyan. pagka pirma ng papeles, punto ka sa lto office nung dealer, and he'd have lotsa plates for you to choose na.

then again, ang registration naman kasi roon is not dependent on the ending number like us..

may specific na month and day and year sa sticker na nasa plaka mismo.

Walang ibig sabihin. Just so happens that the newer license plate issues start with p is all. In a few months maluluma rin yun.

  13. #33
PZI din ako xx4 nga lang. astig so ang P na ngayon ang prestigious. kasama nga lang natin mga corolla na taxi circa 1990's hehehe

So most likely the next would be to finish off the unused "T" combos if we're following the old order (N,P,T,U,W,Z) for NCR.

    Off Topic..

Yung plate na NBI 75 diba commemorative plate lang yun? bakit ang dami ko nakikitang ganun ngayon? di ba yun hinuhuli ng pulis kasi di naka-attach yung original plate sa baba nun? diba bawal na yun? as in yun lang talaga yung plate..

  18. #38
Nabasa ko, na lift daw ito this year.

Nabalik na ba, so implemented na ulit ang no plate no travel policy?

Yes there is actually a memo from MMDA I have read before stating that technically the conduction sticker is just valid for 1 week and also the ending number of the conduction sticker is for your number coding while you have no plate number...

My car is 2 months old now and wala pang plate number. When my car was released from Toyota they gave me a bunch of photocopied invoice with multiple dates good for 3 months. They told me its sort of a travel permit. Well luckily my attention is not being called along the streets for not having a plate number. In fact yung "For Registration" na plate ko sa bumper hindi na nakalagay kasi nilipat hung Habagat..so totally walang kahit anong plaka na nakalagay sa harap ng car ko... I'm hoping naman makuha na yung plate number ko within the month.. My officemate who has a Hyundai Tucson na wala pa din plate (4 months na), usap usapan daw na kaya matagal ang release ng plate number now is because Mar Roxas wants Plate Numbers to include "Daang Matuwid" instead of "Matatag na Republika". Haha.. The hell I care kung anong ilagay nilang phrase dun...tsk tsk..
