I'm a big Nobuo Uematsu fangirl so I'll go for anything he has done for the Final Fantasy series. I especially love the music from FF8, The Extreme FTW. You guys should check it out.

Aside from the usual Final Fantasy stuff, I've been listening a lot of Persona 3 and 4 music lately.

My current favorite is 'Never More' from Persona 4. Shihoko Hirata is the <3

Try looking for 'Persona Music Live', there are a lot of 'Velvetroom in Akasaka Blitz' concert videos in Youtube.

I also listen to some DJMax Portable songs

I find some of Nobuo's music soothing and dreamy even if I only played FFVIII and XII. Like Love Grows and the Ending Theme

Of course, FFVIII's Liberi Fatali is one of the best openings for an RPG.

Some game soundtracks are really Made of Win that I find myself just pausing the game at times just to listen to the music.

stuff from Suikoden 2 and Legend of Mana.
Like Final Fantasy, Suikoden has some pretty cool battle music.

The music in Suikoden III is nice. Then you have the Final Fantasy series as well.

In RTS, "Hell March" is a classic and the musical scores in Civilization and Sudden Strike series as well

How about the Puddle of Mudd song in Ace Combat 4?
