    Sept 13-14 SPECIAL ADJUSTMENT DAY/S

    3. Make sure to check the class you want to adjust to is still open. If it's closed, there's no assurance that you'll be admitted to the section by the academic assistant.
    4. Tell the Academic Assistant what subject will be replaced and the new subject/class you'll enter.
    5. You will be given a form and go the Accounting Office to pay the adjustment fee of P220.
    6. After, get your reprinted EAF at Window 6. Present your receipt to the office to get back your ID.
    7. You cannot send a proxy to adjust for you. It must be you.

ON BEING IN THE DEAN'S LIST:
    1. You need to get at least 2.0 in all of your subjects for the term.
    2. GPA must be 3.000
    3. No failure in any course including NSTP/LASARE/ORIENT/ROTC.
    4. For 108 and below, you can still graduate with honors even if you have a grade below 2.0. However, for 109 you cannot - it must be 2.0 for everything.
    5. You need 3.400 to be a first honor DL (eligible for advance enrollment next term) and 3.000 to be a second honor DL.

  2. #42
yung mga second honors pwede din ba sila for advance enrollment?

  3. #43
^ no - only 1st honor DLs get the early enrollment

And the 2.0 I think still only applies to ID 109 and the batches after that. Not sure about the ID108s kasi from what I know it only applied to the ID109 and after.

And again, as much as we'd like to answer questions, please post them nalang in the misc thread so we can keep this thread clean and just dedicated for news/updates

Thank you so much guys for updating I'm not around lately eh haha I apologize for that.

Blast rocks bar exams in Manila University

MANILA, Philippines – (UPDATE 3) Over a dozen students were reportedly hurt after an explosion rocked the De La Salle University in Taft Avenue, Manila on Sunday, according to INQUIRER.net reporter Tetch Torres, who was on the scene.

Torres said the victims were brought to the Ospital ng Maynila and the Philippine General Hospital

Records provided by the Ospital ng Maynila’s Trauma Surgery Division identified the victims as Joanna Katrina Ledda, Arvin Francis Rosales, Philip Edwin Teelo, Gennilyn Ong, Cyril Ferrer, Kathleen Samba, Azenith Gonzalvo, Jamell Ann Marie and Renald Sudla.

Nine others were brought to the PGH and the hospital’s spokesman, Dr. Michael Tee, identified them as Raissa Laurel, 23; Diana Espiritu, 28; Claudine Abrogena, 21; Datu Mohammad Abdul, 23; Generson Mercado, 25; Milanes Rainier, 24; Eunice Abdon, 23; Diane Camita, 23; and Donelle Quilates, 28.

Torres said the incident took place between 5:00 pm and 5:30 p.m. It was not clear what caused the explosion.

The incident happened on the last day of the bar exam.

A red police line indicating danger cordoned off a portion of the road in front of a McDonalds as members of the bomb squad picked through debris for possible leftover explosives.

Police were mum on the number of injured.

Witnesses recalled hearing a loud blast. "We thought at first it was only from the beat of the drums," one of those supporting examinees from the Far Eastern University said.

A De La Salle security guard said the area was thick with street revelers when the explosion occurred.

An eyewitness, Vince Foz, a student from the College of St. Benilde, recalled feeling a tremor about 30 seconds after he stepped off the Light Railway Train coach at the Vito Cruz Station.

He took a 30-second video of the commotion on the street below.

Foz said the blast occurred at the side where supporters of San Beda examinees were standing. He recalled that a drummer in a red San Beda shirt was among those injured and rushed to a hospital. Foz said he saw the victim bleeding heavily below the waste and was unresponsive.

"Most of the victims were wounded in the low part of their bodies," said Foz, adding that he saw at least three women and two men being carried to ambulances.

Bari Maruhom, another eyewitness, who was waiting for his sibling taking the bar exams, said that at first, they thought the blast was "part of the program."
