Sayang at di mo na-enjoy ang food doon.KL is a food haven, you should have tried eating at the hawker stalls in Jalan Alor and Jalan Petaling, o kaya sa mamak stalls and kopitiams. Kung di mo naman type doon kahit sa Madam Kwan's para nagka-idea ka sa food nila, highly recommended din ang Nando's for their peri-peri chicken

thanks honeybea! i've actually stayed in novotel din last year, march 2010, with friends. maganda yung location nila kasi right next to pavilion and 5 mins away from train station. and this is much, much better than tunehotel sa airport, hehe.

Yep, tried them twice (satay). Love the sweet chili sauce. I prefer malaysion food compared with Singaporean. I have noticed the diferrence immediately sa Larkin Bus Station pa lang. Malay cuisine is less spicy and tastier.

question po on Immigration Officers in T3.

I am on a connecting flight from cebu to manila and manila to KL.
Ask ko lang po if after pagbaba ko sa domestic flight ko,
do I need to go out of T3?
Di ko kasi napansin before na may IO sa T3 kasi domestic
    flights lang ako.
Thanks sa mga sasagot ng query ko.

Is it okay to wear summer wear (sleeveless and shorts) in KL?

    Thanks a lot granslime.
So merong IO sa T3? No need for me to go to T1 for the
    IO clearance?
Anong floor level po yung IO for international departures?

Let me make it simple for you. After arriving in T3 arrivals, you go left, ikot ka, to Departures. Don't worry, merong signs. Akyat ka ng stairs/escalator (or don't make akyat, walk all the way sa dulo for the elevator if may luggages ka, 2nd floor). This is to go to Departures. Then andun na ang mga check-in counters ng airlines. Pag interntional, it is sa may bandang dulo usually, near the travel tax counter. you pay travel tax too of course. then you check in sa airline. then you go to International Departures, katabi lang ng Domestic. Pay Terminal fee, then next is Immigration na. Good luck.

You may want to check out this very informative blog, may visuals ng NAIA 3 and even other airports internationally like KL's KLIA.

Hindi puwede online, if bus and skyway tickets ang kailangan mo, di naman siya nauubos agad except kapag peak day/ weekends, yung Go Genting package ang madaling maubos.

    -KL Sentral
    -Puduraya
    -Terminal Putra Gombak
    -1 Utama

May Genting buses (direct sa Genting Highlands by bus /walang cable ride) din sa may Pekeliling Station

Just got back from my 1 day trip to KL in transit to Phuket

    Here's my IT
2:00 PM - arrived at the LCCT airport - booked the Star Shuttle for 18 MYR that will take us straight to Bintang Warisan Hotel. Waited for about 40 minutes before the bus left the airport.
3:00 PM - Bus left the LCCT airport and passed by the KLIA airport. Upon reaching KL Sental, we rode the "Star Limo" van that will take us to the hotel
4:30 PM - Arrived at Bintang Warisan
5:30 PM - Early dinner at Jalan Alor (behind Bintang Warisan Hotel)
7:30 PM Walked around the Bukit Bintang Malls. Shoe shopping at Vincci
9:00 PM - Hailed a cab that will take us to the Petronas towers for photo ops. He charged us 10 MYR one way, but we asked him to wait for us. He took us to a nice spot where we can take photos of the Petronas towers in it's full glory. After the photo session, he took us back to the hotel, we added 10 MYR for a total cab fare of 20 MYR.

The next day, we took the hotel day tour (4 hours) around KL for 105 MYR per person.
8:00 AM - Breakfast at Bintang Warisan
8:45 AM - our tour driver picked us up at the hotel. It was a private tour

    Places we visited:
    Chinatown
    King's Palace
    Railway station
    National Monument
    Merdeka Square
    Batik making
    Embassy row
    Pewter shop
    Batu Caves
Petronas Towers (though we were very very far away)
    Malaysian White Coffee
    Beryl's
*KL Tower was also included in the IT but we needed to head back to the hotel to catch our 4PM flight

12:45 PM - Booked Star Shuttle for 20 MYR (short notice. Thank God the van was just around the area and could pick us up in 5 minutes)
travel back to the LCCT airport just in time for our 4PM flight to Phuket via Air Asia.

Our 1 day trip was sulit! We enjoyed our stay in Malaysia and it exceeded my expectations. Bintang Warisan was an OK hotel for 160 MYR. The location was perfect and the bed was really comfortable. The room smelled like cigarettes though, but other than that, I didn't have any other issues with the hotel. There's even wifi in the lobby and wired internet in the rooms for free.

Aha, thank you thank you for sharing your trip details with us. nabigyan mo ako ng idea, meron palang tour na ini-offer ang bintang warisan?? wow! that's great...now I'm torn kung ano mas maganda, avail the same 4-hour tour or genting/ batu caves nalang? I'm not much of a fanatic naman for the rides, curious lang to see the place & try the buffet.. sa mga KL frequent travelers dito like honeybea, ano po kaya mas ok na option?
