^^^ Hi honeybea! Balik ka na pala ulit dito sa KL thread.

We recently tried My Hotel @ Sentral during our 22hour stop-over in KL. For only 110MYR for a double room, with A/C, cable flat TV, bottled water/coffee making facilities, FREE wifi in the room, towels and toiletries, it's a better alternative to Tune Hotel in LCCT. We will stay there again next month when we go to Yogja via AirAsia.

You're so helpful Honeybea, thank you I was about to ask if KL Sentral is open 24/7 kasi we only have about 9 hours to go around KL and didn't really want to spend much on a pricey hotel.

Parang winner ang PODs! I'll look this up!

I stayed in PODs last week sa trip ko to Dubai. Medyo hindi ok yung stay ko sa PODs kase ang ingay ng mga nasa labas ng cubicle hindi din ako nakatulog. And yung aircon may oras lang (7 pm to 5am ata). Kung maarte ka din sa CR medyo di din ok yung PODs for you kase made of yero yung CR.

    Pero mabait naman yung may-ari

But if you need to rest talaga and makatulog, try Hotel Sentral or YMCA malapit din sa KL Sentral 500 pesos lang naman ang difference.

For those who have recently arrived in KL, I'd like to ask how long the immigration line is nowadays. I am arriving at KL on June 3 Sunday via Cebu Pac @5:40PM and I was thinking of getting the 8PM bus going to Melaka. Assuming na Cebu Pac is late and we arrive at 6:40pm - can i clear immigration in 1 hour?

  8. #2568

    Hi everyone...

We'll be going to KL on June 11 from Singapore by bus. Drop off point to KL will be Berjaya or Puduraya.

How to go to Batu Cave from these point thru train?

Is it ok that we will do the hop on hop off after Batu Cave? What Hoho Stop we can start? Can you suggest the best destination that we can cover the whole day.

We will be staying at Tune Hotel. The next day we are planning to go to Genting Highlands before 6:30 PM flight back to Manila.

Please help... This will be our first time to go to KL. We are just couple.

    Thanks

Thanks all!

Me, my wife and a friend will be going to to Yogyakarta on June 14 via KL and we have a full day of lay-over in KL before catching our early morning flight to Yogja. We have two options, visit Putrajaya or a day tour to Malacca. Which would you suggest we do? Please give me tips on doing either trip on our own (we will be staying at My Hotel@Sentral) - public transpo, etc. Salamat!
