SA TRUE LANG, if you have lived most of your life in metro manila, then you will survive anywhere else.

based on my research so far, eto mga payo sakin ng friend ko who works as a teacher in Bangkok.

in case u come here ALONE and u don't have much things or big suitcases with u!

you can take a shuttle bus

on the arrival floor to the bus terminal. then u can take a van to go to Khao Sarn Rd. the price is 150 baht!!

if u don't want to take a van ,you can also take a bus. Some bus is going to victory monument.
the price is around 20 baht!. then u can take a sky train at victory monument to anywhere !!

    THEN,

I went to the Suvarnabhumi airport website(link nasa 1st page) and nakita ko info about so many options pala from airport to the area near or around my hostel. tingin ko 2 ang options ko:

when i arrived in BKK last Wed. airport express bus no.3 sinakyan ko to Chitlom BTS baba then walk to Lang Suan, yun pala my hotel is like 800 meters away pa, so layo ng nilakad ko. then akala ko 12:30 AM na yun kaya lalo akong natakot. yun pala 11:30PM pa lang sa Thailand hehe..

  9. #29
Very informative thread, we're going on a thailand-singapore-malaysia tour last week of october.

hi guys....i will be in BKK for only 3 days, just wanna ask kung magkano (approximate) magagastos mo for that days, i will be alone kasi and my first time also in Bangkok inavail ko lang kasi yung promo ng PAL sayang kasi which i got for only US$110.00 (roundtrip inclusive of TAX) eh medyo tipid mode kasi ako dahil I also avail other promo of PAL (September - Bangkok, October - Saigon [US$110], November - Palawan [Php1,073]) kasi need your help more or less how much will i spend for that day lahat lahat like stay sa hotel, food etc. etc. Thanks and looking forward to reply

P.S. when you get back from Thailand to Manila are you gonna pay also Airport Tax etc. or other government related charges.

  11. #31
If you bring 5k at hindi ka naman mapili sa food, that's well enough for 3 days na.

Anong promo po ng PAL 'yan- is it Midnight Sale? Am planning to go back there this November eh

Btw, meron ba dito'ng me mare-recommend na door-to-door delivery from Bangkok? Or it is easy if I buy a lot of stuff tapos gamitin ko na lang 'yung check-in baggage ko kung 15 kilos lang naman ang dala-dala ko? All opinions are welcomed! TIA

i booked na sa hotels2thailand.com ng chao phraya princess cruise. and i got 1,550 baht for 2 person inclusive of vat/tax, kesa dun sa mismong site nila which is 1,300baht per person excluding tax/baht.

then, im planning to book again on the same site for siam niramit cultural show which cost around 2,200 baht for 2 person inclusive of tax/vat and a buffet dinner of thai and western cusine. is this okay na ba for the price? first time ko na mag book dito sa hotels2thailand.com, is this site reliable?

also, we'll be visiting Samphran Ground zoo, sa site nila, nakalagay 500 baht for the enrtance and show fee, yung ride ba ng elephant na 500 baht kasama na dun sa entrance or not? kasi dun sa hotels2thailand.com na site, its 4,775 baht for 2 person. super pricey sya. kung duon nalang kami mismo sa samphran na magbayad pag punta namin dun? paano ba yun? thank you so much.

dyan din ako nag booked ng siam niramit. Ok naman, cheaper compared sa actual site ng siam niramit. I did some research and that's the cheapest i got.
