Though Im a manager from the former company i was with, i know i have a lot of things to improve.

At times, im thinking of enrolling my self to John Robert Powers or Dale Carneige for my personality enhancement.

Yeah, i may have a cute face but i think that's not enough to succeed. Ang daming di masyadong blessed in terms of physical features but they are so successful in their field.

I wish I could do this as a gift for myself in 2012. I want to be a better person.
^^ I wonder how cute are...lalaki ka ba?

-But then again, everyone who's blessed w/ good looks-have this advantage of pleasing anybody. With a just smile, a wink, or just acting like you are genuinely interested w/ the person you are talking with.
So I guess-it's easy for you. If you won't stressed out too much on what you have to say. It's just analyzing what you think will make that person engage with you in a conversation. Sometimes it relies with how much you know about the person. But if not-it's actually finding what you both are in common with. Or just talk about something or anything.

-But still I'm as Introverted as you are. And never was I the initiator of a conversation. I also get easily "intimidated". And would otherwise just be timid and see if the person will get my attention.

-"Influence" from people who are "extroverted" are just my experience on how to overcome it. It's weird that sometimes this type of people(extro) gets to be close to me(by "accident" or fate).

lol...im quite amazed with the topic you guys are sharing...

I guess everyone of us has traumas in our lives that it is affecting our dispositions when in public...and I want to share this though I am not an expert on this as it has helped me go through it. Hope you wont find this absurd and would act on it that it would become your daily routine and not just for the heck of experience. Try do further research on what I am going to share here as I can not explain it specifically.

It is about the field of psychological treatment with spiritual dimension. First things first that I would like share is accepting the fact that it is what is being feed into our brain that makes up what we are presently facing...how we react on things is based on our past experiences. With this natural law, we need to let this bad traumatic experiences be out of our brain system...and the process of doing this is through undergoing catharsis... - do research on this...quite a tiring process but really effective in purging out those experiences and boost your confidence...caution should be considered here not to hurt ones self.

After such process, spiritual meditation would follow...a process where you would in essence be free from the material world. The process is tiring as you would do a thing like - being still and not letting your brain work by thinking, analysing, providing images...

lol...try these things...after this you would tell yourself that the S.A.D. things that you are sharing here are just the products of your thinking and experiences...we are in any way psychologically normal...

^^ wow-baliktad ka yata. Ako nga I wonder how a SUPER TALKATIVE person can talk-"non-stop", w/o dead-air. And still be hyper-kasi minsan nakakapagod dumaldal. Minsan din kahit close- mo yung tao. There will be times-that you feel you're running out of ideas of what to talk about. I was never active in SCHOOL. Pero College days- either sa written exams or if the need to speak in Class. Ganun lang ako-active. Recitation- madalang lang. Sa exams/quizzes talaga ako bawing-bawi. I'm not sociable-I'm sociable lang if it's about school they're going to ask(nerdy). But I get to know my REAL FRIENDS from that. As long as they accept my personality, wants my company and genuinely makes a connection-jokes around w/ me. After college. OMG! It's been really hard to find REAL FRIENDS. It's either you "click" or not "click" w/ them.

^^ Well for me, I'm like blaming people who judged me quickly in a bad way. Who abused my passiveness. Who would judge me by impressions or bad rumor. My healing realization is - "I DON'T OWE THEM ANYTHING, I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING WRONG TO ANYBODY." Then SELF-PITY stops. I mean I'm the kindest person that I could ever think of. And it sucks to meet people who are attention-seekers. And insensitive. AND WHAT DO THEY CARE? THIS IS MY LIFE... AND THEY KNOW NOTHING ABOUT IT. And this is ME. What they see, is what they get. All this issues started-when I met "nasty" people at the industry I chose. College Life was never been this harsh w/ me.

great thinking. this thread could use minds like yours. careful with your being optimistic though. some people here don't like it when others sound too positive. if you'd backread you'll see what i mean.

i guess thats really the thing about ADHD,people always ask me if i ever get tired of talking, answer is really no,baligtad pa,i get bored kapag kailangan tahimik lang.hinding hindi naman ako yung kind ng bata before na hyper sa loob ng classroom, basta hyper ako sa pag join ng halos lahat ng contests and activities sa school.napagsabihan pa ko ng isang teacher before na parang huwag ko daw salihan lahat lahat, hehe, sali pa rin ako.sa ideas naman i jump from one idea to another ng walang putol.

Even back in school or at work, I really don't mingle a lot. I don't like attracting attention. I go about and find my own little space and stay there and do whatever. I have self esteem issues, mostly because I don't conform to what is normal and pleasant to the general public. I don't usually wallow on the idea but I do have reservations and apprehensions because of this. I think this also made me cynic and depressed a lot. I turned to food as an escape from my anxieties and insecurities, but it just made it worse.

This may also be the reason why I find social media like this (Pinoyexchange) a very useful tool that serves as an outlet/venue for me to express myself (under a pseudonym, of course). Whereas in a normal social setting, I would find it very hard to speak up...
