i saw an auto mall along the highway in San Pablo City, and the sell vehicles (imported second hand) with plates beginning with letter 'B' also. baka mas mahal ang benta sa San Pablo compared there in Cagayan I guess, pero for sure galing din sila ng Cagayan.

yung iba may plaka na, hindi pwedeng double registration.

So yung iba, wala pa ding plate number. Yung mga walang pang plate numbers, kelangan bang dun na din iregister? or pwede kong itravel para iregister dito tapos, nakalagay muna, for registration. Any one here have experience in buying cars from those locations or "smuggled" cars?

di naman lahat. meron pajero, eclipse, grandis, bighorn, landcruiser, prado, hi-ace, terrano, serena, crv, odyssey, honda fit.. hummer and porsche meron din

most of those that are in sta ana came from japan sir,

yes a lot cheaper, but mind you those units are converted from RHD to LHD. road worthiness now comes in, ive seen people killed and injured using those cars,

cars,suv and other vehicles that came from cagayan *port irene* are not smuggled they came there as *loose cargo*

no you cant bring the vehicle out not until the registration process is complete. which take more or less 3 working days.

no you cant bring the vehicle out if it is still RHD. the conversion cost roughly 20-30k depending on the bulk of vehicles.

B plate vehicles are not a threat to LTO, TMG or HPG they are considered one of the legal ports here in PI.

Honda Jazz are the local version of Honda Fit. Given the situation of the roads here and the driving attitude of the pinoy drivers. I would pick the japan surplus import car anyday.

As for now. Honda FIT has already stopped shipment as well as EURO cars. the last batch that arrive roughly 2weeks ago would be for now the last batch of honda fit and euro cars. In my opinion the government would raise the tax.

Port irene is home to exotic sports cars, elite sedans, and SUV's. The price? way way way below than the usual range here in PI. Trick is you just have to know where yard to look and who to talk to.

+1 its in the constitution already, port irene is the only legal port to offer 2nd hand car... in subic not it should be brand new... enrile may hawak eh kaya na sa batas hehe
