Mas mahal ang stainless countertop compare sa granite. Ang maganda sa stainless countertop ay madaling linisin at hindi porous unlike granite. If you will go for stainless steel countertop dapat magaling ang fabricator mo para malinis ang pagkakagawa.

baka naman magmukhang jollibee or mcdo pag stainless

hindi naman magmumukhang fastfood kapag stainless
Some modern kitchen designs use stainless counter top.

I'm thinking if mas mura ba yung polished concrete. Ok ba iyon in terms of durability and design factors?

Pag sinabi mo kse stainless na kitchen unang naiisip ng iba ay kitchen tulad ng Jolibee at McDo. Iba ang set-up ng kitchen nila more on commercial type.

If countertop lang naman ang stainless best to match it with wengue color laminate.

Sample pic of residential kitchen made of stainless steel. I got from other website.

We have a st. steel countertop/wengue cabinets combo.

Maganda siya, very modern tingnan and easy to maintain.

You could even get electrocuted (under the right conditions).

Maganda ang nasa pics, but I don't find it homey. In the end, it boils down to personal preference.

what's great with steel kitchen counter tops is that they look so professional. any chef would go gaga for that.

but if you wanna impress regular people, granite will be quite impressed by it.

as a chef to be, i'd go for steel any day of the week.

granite is cheaper and more homey and more variety in terms of color and design...pag stainless top baka pag di maganda ang combination ng color ma-overpower ng stainless yung surrounding and it will really look like a fastfood... just my opinion kasi I have seen one..

Wouldn't the stainless steel become bent if I put too much pressure sa kanya? I.e., chopping a really hard meat

Makapal naman ang ginagamit na stainless steel sa countertop usually 1.0mm -1.2mm thick then may 3/4" marine plywood sa ilalim. You can use chopping board when chopping meat.

Anybody who can recommend good but cheap stainless steel countertop fabricator?

    thanks

I've seen some wherein they mix both granite and stainless steel countertops sa kitchen - siguro due to design and/or budget reasons.

I do agree with the comment na mas professional ang dating kapag stainless steel ang surface.

yeah... stainless steels give it an industrial/ restaurant kitchen look.

most people use stainless sa dirty kitchen, and granite sa regular kitchen.

I'd go for stainless na seamless construction. Walang leaks, walang molds, walang chip-off or mababasag at di madidiscolor.

This kitchen looks really good. I wish to own this kind of place someday.

Anyway, between Stainless Countertop and Granite Countertop thoughts, here are my point. Stainless steel countertops are a compelling option for modern homeowners because of their industrial charm, hygienic properties, and long-term durability. A stainless steel countertop is the most naturally anti-bacterial countertop you can buy. It has a surface which is extremely smooth and free of seams and other voids where bacteria can hide. Because they are usually made to an individual homeowner’s specification, the countertops are typically fabricated as one large piece. This smooth surface is resistant to germs but is also easy to clean but it show fingerprints and other smudge marks.

On the other hand, Granite is a relatively non-porous material, but must be sealed in order to maintain a food-safe surface. The sealant, which is suitable for a food-preparation surface, is not permanent, and must be re-applied every few years. A granite counter, being made of rock, has a tendency to chip. In addition, due to the fact that it is a large, thin, and flat piece of stone, a break during installation could be catastrophic. Granite sealants make the surface more resistant to staining.

In conclusion, my choice will be Stainless Countertops.

It would be virtually impossible to remove dents from a stainless counter top kaya most kitchen have a free standing chopping block. For residential use pang showcase lang ang stainless. Ok lang for splashboards and with a jet black granite counters. Pero kung full stainless over load mukhang morgue slab kapag naluma.

Can stainless countertop be polished after sometime to bring back its original look? How about if it is hairline finish?

I'm thinking of sacrificing my budget for the wet kitchen to get the look in the image above for our dry kitchen. I really love that kitchen and fits perfectly to our industrial/modern theme of our soon-to-be constructed house. Just waiting for the building permit and we're off
