Totoo ba ang KULAM/BARANG?

(I'm not sure if there's an existing specific topic for this.. tried search option in looking for one but can't find any thus this thread's creation)

I know we are in 'new millennium' and at the 'computer age' but still does this Kulam/Barang thing 'still' do exist?

I have been previously doubtful about the existence or practice of this. All this time whenever I encounter the said topic sabi ko eh part lang ng 'folklore' or even 'urban legend'.


Just recently, i, personally, have heard/encountered what looks like a 'pangkukulam/pangbabarang'. Our province is located on the northern part. The victim is an immediate family member that's why there's this panic and concern on my part.

Can anyone share a thing or two, or relay a personal experience or heard stories about this? Pleas do share... for 'us' (even the readers/lurkers) to have an idea (symptoms/signs as well as prevention/cure) regarding this matter. We're feeling so helpless dealing with this.

Gusto ko sanang makisali sa biruan, but I, apparently, can't given the situation. Ayaw ko namang magmukhang katawa-tawa dito, I'm just trying to get anyone's two cents of opinion or even story if they have.

I am afraid of aswang, multo, nagpaparamdam na bagong patay, manananggal, white lady, and vampires - probably why I don't appreciate True Blood, Twilight, etc..

But for some reason, I'm not that afraid of kulang or barang.
