Matinee idol Alden Richards bares sexy body for new billboard ad

Maging ang ama at lola ni Alden Richards ay nagulat sa sexy billboard ng Kapuso young actor para sa isang clothing line.

Ayon sa ama ni Alden na si Mr. Faulkerson, "kumabog" ang dibdib niya nang makita ang naturang billboard ni Alden sa Edsa para sa Folded & Hung.

"Nakaka-touch! I never knew na ganun pala ka-big deal sa family ko yung mga nangyayari sa akin," mangiyak-ngiyak na sabi ni Alden sa panayam sa kanya ni Joey de Leon sa Startalk kahapon, February 18.

Ayon naman sa lola ni Alden, gusto niyang makita ang maituturing na sexy photos ng apo para sa naturang clothesline ad.

Handa naman daw si Alden na ipakita sa lola niya ang kanyang mga litrato, kung saan naka-topless at naka-boardshorts siya.

"Dadalhin ko po sana sa kanya, isu-surprise ko po sana siya, and then, alam na po pala niya!" ang natatawang sinabi ng 19-year-old actor.

Sinabi ni Joey na ang request lamang daw ng lola ni Alden ay huwag itong magpapa-pictorial ng higit pa doon—o yung "below the belt."

"Siguro po sa isip ni Lola, siguro masyado pang maaga para magsuot ng mga... 'below-the-belt'!" ang natatawa namang sabi ni Alden.

Pero dagdag niya, "Kung kailangan naman po, tsaka in time siguro mangyayari iyon."

BREADWINNER. Samantala, si Alden ay tumutulong daw sa kanyang pamilya financially bilang siyang breadwinner.

"So, pananatilihin ko lang po," sabi niya.

THE ROAD. "Proud na proud" naman si Alden dahil ipalalabas sa U.S. at Canada ang tinampukan niyang horror film para sa GMA Films, ang The Road.

"Opo, proud na proud po ako na napasama ako sa pelikulang ito, proud po ako na nakilala siya sa ibang bansa.

"So ayan po, yung The Road po, going international na. Mag-i-start po yung showing namin sa May 11 po.

Sa huli ay nagbigay ng mensahe si Alden para sa kanyang pamilya at fans.

"Lola, natupad na yung pangarap natin, dati pinag-uusapan lang natin ito [billboard] 'pag nagluluto ka.

"Ngayon, nandun na siya sa EDSA.

Twitter is expanding its advertising sales to Japan

Twitter has opened a base of operations in the UK and has established ties in the U.S. to sell space to candidates for election to the country and to continue the play, Twitter has started advertising its activity also in Japan .

While a year ago that Twitter started selling advertising in the U.S., these ads are very localized area and went wasting the opportunity to expand, increase revenue and provide much more targeted advertising on the user. In the UK, localized advertising is already working with Sky television has made, through Twitter, a campaign to promote the series Glee. As prices are handled in Japan, would be promoted trending topics worth 420 yen a day, ie about 4 euros a day with an average of 12 million impressions, although these prices would not be confirmed.

So, Twitter has yet to explore many markets where it could make much better use the 3 parts that make up its portfolio of advertising services (tweets, trending topics and profiles), but for this, should continue to invest in its international expansion and the Advertisers search outside the U.S. market.

Fans power battle of hashtags between Julie Anne and Sarah

Fans of singers Julie Anne San Jose and Sarah Geronimo managed to ensure that their voices were heard as they placed their idols on the top Twitter trending topics not only in the Philippines, but also worldwide.

Following the success of her Nicki Minaj “Super Bass” cover on YouTube that has registered close to 14 million hits as of press time, San Jose has clearly claimed her own spot on the web.

The tag “Julie Anne San Jose Day” did not just land a spot on the local trending topics for one full day, but it stayed on the list three since Sunday.The tag was on the sixth spot in the worldwide trending topics twice and for several hours on Monday and Tuesday.

San Jose thanked her supporters for this in a taped interview with “24 Oras” aired Feb. 21.

“Hindi ‘ko rin po ine-expect na magte-trend po talaga. Well, salamat rin po sa mga fans, sa mga supporters po na nagte-trend and ayun po, thankful po ako sa kanila kasi sobrang nakakaflatter po ‘yon,” she gushed.

Many Netizens seemed to have reacted positively to the singer turned YouTube sensation’s signing up for her first solo album with GMA Records, which had its presscon on Monday.

The "24 Oras" report said that after San Jose inked her recording contract, she immediately started recording her first track for the said album, which is set to be the theme song of her upcoming movie with onscreen love team Elmo Magalona titled “Just One Summer.”

Asked if she was excited over her first movie in 2012, she said, “Oo naman po and at the same time kinakabahan rin kasi siyempre first movie namin ‘to ni Elmo together."

Other than having her first solo album and movie, San Jose, together with Kapuso young singer Derrick Monasterio, was chosen to perform the theme song of the upcoming Rhian Ramos and Aljur Abrenica rom-com “My Kontrabida Girl.”

Meanwhile, supporters of Sarah Geronimo won’t let their idol be left behind as they successfully entrenched the tag “Sarah G. Day” on the top spot of the local Twitter trending topics.

Now on its fourth consecutive day of reigning locally, the said tag seemed to have stemmed from the “excitement” of her fans over her upcoming musical variety show “Sarah G. Live!” which will start airing on Feb. 26. And for her guest appearance on the late night—and consistently trending—variety show of comedian Vice Ganda dubbed “Gandang Gabi Vice."

More, “Sarah G. Day” also landed the top spot on the worldwide trending topics from Sunday to Monday. More, it also claimed fourth place on the trending topics list in United Arab Emirates on Feb. 22.
