why not use made to order stainless steel countertop?
Granite can stain if theres too much water I reckon
don't buy "cheap" granite countertops. go for something semi decent, then get it properly sealed para hindi masira pagkalipas ng dalawang taon.
or get synthetic. not as pretty, pero resists certain chemicals better.

Typical pricing of granite countertops varies greatly, depending on the size and specifications of the piece. Naturally, larger pieces are more expensive than smaller ones. It also depends on some specification such as the selected material. Some types have coarser graining and large particles embedded in the rock, while others have lines that are very fine and map-like. Usually, the granite designs with finer, cleaner lines are more expensive than ones with blotches or large particles. Prices will also differ depending on whether the stone is natural or engineered, though pricing becomes muddled where stone type is concerned. In the most general sense, engineered stone is cheaper than natural stone.
If it's Corian or Fountainhead, then those are way more expensive that the best Granite available locally. In the most general sense, engineered stone is cheaper than natural stone.
a good dealer/seller will tell you which stones are suitable for "kitchen countertop" and which stones are not (because they're suitable only as wall claddings/accents) not all stones are made equal - not only because of country of origin but also because of the specific components that make up the stone.

those who tell you otherwise are lying through their teeth.

hi there. im new here. this is my first post. ive been reading a lot here since last night coz i need to have my kitchen renovated. kaya ayan bigla akong nag join this morning.
anyways, question on the granite counter top. my mom kasi nagpagawa ng bar dito sa condo unit na granite. eh gusto ko tanggalin ayaw ng mom ko. i think pwede ko ilipat yung bar sa ibang pwesto para hindi major war zone. basta gusto talaga nya may bar, eh ang sikip talaga currently.
so pwede ba i-reuse ang granite? sorry kung stupid question... wala ako alam kasi dyan. para kasi pag nakita nyang nilipat ko lang ang bar nya at gawin kong parang breakfast nook eh di sya magalit pag same granite lang. hahaha!
fixed kasi yung current bar. as in parang wall, semento sya. tapos granite top...
balak ko ipatibag. tapos kung reusable ang granite top, reuse sya to be like a breakfast nook, something like that....
I guess it can be removed and replaced on another counter or a breakfast counter.
