I got a "HIT" on my NBI clearance. What to do?

I went to Megamall earlier today to renew my clearance, unfortunately, I got a "hit". This is my 4th time getting a clearance and my 1st on renewing with my married name.

The NBI guy just stamped "HIT. FOR VERIFICATION PROCEED TO NBI VICTORY MALL 5TH FLOOR MONUMENTO"

I called the hotline NBI provided for questions regarding clearances. No one seems to want to take the calls because I called 5x to no avail. It just kept on ringing. So I called the NBI Victory Mall, finally, someone picked up! I asked him what I should bring to their office and when I should go there. He told me that the officers in Megamall stamps the date on my receipt. I told him there was none. I asked him for the NBI Megamall's number but said he doesn't know.

I called Megamall and found out that NBI does not have any phoneline for that office. GREAT!

Now, someone, please help me. I intend to go to that Victory Mall tomorrow. What should I bring and how long does the process usually take?

victory mall ka na lang.. HIT dyan in 1 hr makukuha mo na ata... Dito sa LAS PIÑAS 8 hrs kang pipila, pag na HIT ka 10 days pa amf! walang kwenta puro fixer! mas mabilis pa pila ng FIXER sa mga pumila ng 6am

hindi ko alam yung requirements to bring, but to be safe bring... everything you can? hehe. (old nbi clearance, valid ids, marriage cert, etc)

ang alam ko it takes 1 week para ma-ok kapag hit.

in my case, everytime kukuha ako, balik ako ng balik dahil hindi pa rin nila nahuhuli ang kapangalan kong wanted for large scale estafa. usually, may mga routine questions lang about the residences where you've lived, education, previous jobs you've had, family background, basta, questions to establish your identity and career profile.

nakakaasar lang, everytime i get a clerance, alam ko nang hindi ko agad makukuha.

before, 2 talaga sila, the other one is for multiple murder and rape (a celebrated one though), pero in jail na ata si murderer/rapist.

Sa pagkakaintindi ko, yung "hit" ay yung may kapangalan ka. I'm not sure lang kung yung kapangalan mo dapat may kaso para maging considered na "hit." Anyway, 'cos I just went to Victory Mall yesterday to get an NBI clearance. Not to renew, but to apply for the first time. They stamped my receipt with June 11--'eto malamang yung tinatanong sa'yo ng nakausap mo sa phone. I was told to go back on June 11 to get my clearance, as opposed to the usual 30minutes, which means may "hit" yung name ko. Hindi naman nila sinabi na ganon, I just assumed na meron since 3 days pa bago ko makuha. Those without a hit were able to get their clearance within 30 mins. So, I'm going back to Victory Central Mall on June 11 to claim my clearance. There's a lot of counters there, naka-label na ng WITH HIT and WITHOUT HIT. Oh btw, I just brought my driver's license and P115 for the payment.

I was hit once. they brought me to a dark room and was forced to sat down, with a hanging bulb above my head and it was dark and there were three men surrounding me and started asking questions. I was so scared that I thought they would pull out my balls with their own hands.
They were like agents from the matrix movie.

i think philippines should start having a social security number pagkapanganak pa lang to identify you..
like here in the US, your social security number is your identity..

although may SS number din sa pinas, hindi yun ang ginagamit to identify you.. if based lang sa name maraming magkakapangalan..

Update:

I went to NBI Monumento yesterday around 3:45 PM. I went straight to the Verification Desk. There was no queue so I was there for less than 5 mins lang. I was asked to go back today at 2:30 PM to claim my clearance. I hope there won't be any problems because it's a b|tch to travel for hours to get to NBI and back to the my office just to spend less than 5 mins in that freakin place.

I feel bad for people with hits who reside outside the Metro. Sobrang hassle malamang sa kanila yun.

Same experience here, wala rin pong date na nakalagay sa akin nung kumuha ako kanina sa parksquare. HIT daw ako. Pinapapunta din ako sa Victory Mall. Kailangan ba pumunta agad or palipasin muna ang 2-3 days? Wala kasing date na nakalagay kung kailan ko kukunin. taga-Laguna pa ako, sinubukan ko lang mag-renew, ultimate fail pala mangyayari.

Naku, sobrang hassle kapag may hit. Dati nag apply ako at may hit ako pero hinde ko na naasikaso because I left for abroad and didn't need it anymore. And this was some years back.

Anyway, when I finally needed one last year. It took 3 weeks to get mine. First application ko ito ng NBI clearance under my married name. The worst part is, they told me the hit was because of my 2nd name and maiden name which is a fairly common. I was like err...my first name is uncommon and my married name even more so and I'm getting a hit because of my 2nd name and maiden name??? Kung saan saan pa ako gusto papuntahin at kesyo kailangan ko daw this and this and that and that.

Buti na lang may friend yung mom ko na NBI so tinawagan ko na lang. Advise niya sa kin was I need to get a certification from NBI stating na hinde ako yung taong yun and that it would be best to get a clearance from the RTC where the said person na kapangalan ko has a case filed para wala na daw akong magiging hit from that said person for future applications.

So nilakad na lang niya sa kin for a small fee kesa daw pabalik-balik ako. Inasikaso niya NBI application ko, kumuha ng certification from the NBI and even went to QC RTC to get a certification from them. He gave everything to me after 3 weeks.

Ngayon, whenever I renew my NBI, mabilis na (basta walang pila).

May kapangalan ka, so iveverify nila sa records nila based on your date of birth, parent's name, etc. and it would take time eh yung office na yun ay mabilisan, pag walang hit, makukuhamo na agad yung clearance mo, pababalikin ka ng certain date kasi iveverify pa nga nila yun. Ayun.
