Nilaga or linaga? LOL.

In any language po kasi mayroong 'imperfect tense' and there are also exceptions to the rule, so ano po ba?

    Sincerely,

    Tag-along

    ^LOL. you serious?

It's nilaga. linaga is how they say it in the visayas (cebuano, ilonggo, waray)

^I don't know po eh. Hindi po ako guru or self proclaimed professional LOL. I don't have the right or the expertise to say so, I stopped speaking 'Tag-alog' regularly at 11.

Kaya I'm waiting for those with Phd's on Filipino Language to say it. I'm just an idiot po eh.

    ^okay. LOL.

Filipino had been my weakest subject in school. I always scored low esp when writing essays. LOL. I never had a grade below 80 since birth until Filipino 101 in college. I hated it and i hated our old gay professor. All girls always got low scores (we were just 8 girls in a class of 50) while guys were always favored. I remember he threw an eraser at me because I was noisy. Good thing I wasn't hit. Nice try for him though.

^See! That's why for all you know you've missed out when your gay professor finally said that it's not nilaga, but rather linaga. Seriously, LOL.

    Halimbawa:
Sa ingles: I was eating when you arrived.
Sa tagalog maraming pangungusap ang puwedeng gamitin :
    1. Ako'y kumakain nang ika'y dumating.
    2. Ako'y nakain nang ika'y dumating
    3. Ako'y kumain nang ika'y dumating

(Lahat sila ay iisa ang kahulugan)

@ FA seriously? I speak two filipino languages and I've always heard it's nilagang baka in tagalog and linagang baka in bisaya. LOL.

    but whatever. you're the expert.

^For the benefit of those who are at the mercy of circumstance, think of it as bayanihan, no?

  15. #15

    Inilibing.

    Pinaikli lamang ang 'nilibing.

    Inilaga din.
    Pinaikli lamang ang 'nilaga.
