i'm not sure about other android-based phones pero ang nexus one ang the best. sayang hindi siya available dito sa pinas.![]()
HTC Desire, definitely better than the nexus one. its not yet confirmed if they will release it here locally. pero baka this may raw![]()
Does HTC honor warranty of phones bought from the US or HK ?
HTC Incredible, kaso CDMA siya.
HTC Desire sana kasi GSM kaso ang balita sa HTC shop sa SM North Edsa ay HTC Legend daw ang dadating dito.
I have the Droid/Milestone!
HTC Desire or Incredible ... wait for it.
HTC is a having a sale today. Swap any old device you have (cellphone, digicam, PDA) for discounts up to P15,000 on an HTC Android phone.

don't go for nexus one.
for me i would say htc desire is so far the best one around. the only thing is we don't know when it is coming here and there is not so much support or dealers here in the philippines.

grabe, im literally salivating over HTC Desire.
I saw HTC Desire on a small gadget store in MOA. They're selling it for 40k. Specs-wise, it's a bit close to SE's X10 and Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S, with the former currently in stores for 32k, and the latter reportedly to be announced with roughly the same SRP.
Okay na ako kahit HTC Legend. Kaso up until now wala pa rin ako makita.![]()
Those looking for android on a budget may want to check out the Samsung i5700 at around 15k (w/ 0% interest option). It already runs 2.1, too.
Too bad the Hero only is on 1.5 :\

Available ba locally yung Droid?
magakano po yung mga phones ng HTC??
durable po ba naman??
Erm... I forgot. Pero you can't miss it. Basta dun ka lang sa north wing ng MOA dun sa gadget aisle and head towards the esplanade. You'll see two small stores with only glass enclosures in the middle of the hall. Yung isa puro bags, and the other is various gadgets. Naka-display yung phone along with an HTC HD2.
I saw one store in MOA with a poster of Motorola Milestone (GSM version ng Droid). Hindi ko rin tinandaan name ng store. As for Hero, I thought there was a plan to provide an OTA upgrade to 2.1 last April?
Hey, post naman kayo kung may nakita na kayong HTC Legend. I've been hunting for this phone for two weeks now since it was announced that they'll be selling it locally.
I was researching on Android as I've already set my eyes on the Nexus One when I found out that surfing via wifi with a proxy's not supported. How could google omit this basic func? It'll be useless in school.
Here's a related and active unanswered thread re this prob:
