There are many possible causes. It could be that there is a reinfection, or that the antibiotics have not yet taken its full effect, or the antibiotics may not be the right drug for your case. To be sure, just finish the course of the antibiotics then follow-up with your physician.

Pigsa is abscess. Antibiotics is incomplete. The treatment is incision and drainage. The pus has to be drained. Since it ruptured already, there was drainage of the pus. The problem is that the opening of the rupture is not adequate to completely drain all the pus out. It must have sealed before the microorganisms are eradicated. Please see your doctor.

Kahit paulit ulit po ba ang pigsa ok lang po ba na ipaopera agad ito? Kasi nagpa check up ako niresetahan lang ako ng gamot at mga advise para ma relive yung pain.

Dapat po ba operahan na para di umulit? Kaya lang sa ibang part ng katawan nagkakaroon ako huhu

Taking the right antibiotic is necessary for boils. Cloxacillin or similar type of antibiotic is more appropriate than Amoxicillin. It's not necessary to do surgery on boils, but if it's too big, then your doctor may decide to incise and drain the pus in your boil.
If you have recurrent boils, I suggest that you go to your doctor who will advise you to have lab work-ups such as FBS (fasting blood sugar), CBC or other labs, since your boils may be caused by some other disease such as diabetes, anemia or immune deficiency.

It would be unethical to prescribe you a drug without examining the patient. The ideal treatment would still be incision and drainage. The treshold for observing an abscess with medications alone is small. I suggest you consult with your doctor. There are many cases of cellulitis or abscess that has gone really bad because of self medication without having it evaluated properly. Please see your doctor.

I have had quite a number of referrals from patients who have self-managed their abscess and eventually have to be admitted for a complication. Again, it is wiser for you to see your doctor.
