Hi NavySlate, CCS alumni here. For students under the ST specialization, we look for a company on our own. Once a student gets "admitted" for the OJT post, he/she must submit a project sheet which includes the description and the duration of the project which will still be for approval. Sometimes the practicum coordinator posts openings in the Yahoo group and encourages students to apply if ever companies show the need for interns and present the projects firsthand to the coordinator.

I would think the easiest way for you to get OJT applicants is for your company to approach the CCS practicum coordinators.

Most CCS internships are usually done over the summer - you will have less CCS students applying to your internship post at this time, but some will probably be willing to extend.

Is it recommended to take OBJECTP, DASALGO and DIGIDES in one term?

I honestly would not recommend that. The OBJECTP and DASALGO machine projects are exhausting enough. And DIGIDES requires tedious studying. It might be too difficult. Syempre, if kailangan... kakayanin. But if you have the option to not take all of them in one term, I'd suggest you do that.

Professors usually recycle the MP specifications anyway. Approach someone who has already taken the subject and study the source code of their MP. It will save you a lot of time.

magandang araw CCS. ive already finished a 2 year IT course dito sa may tabi tabi sa amin. frankly wala ako natutunan, but im not blaming the school. back then my priorities just werent about passing with flying colors.all i wanted was to PASS. but now times have changed, and so is my outlook in life. thats why im thinking of going back to school. to really learn something. i would like to try to go into DLSU. but my GPA is below the requirement of admission. and im worried i wouldnt even be given a chance to take the entrance exam. baka meron po malakas sa admission dyan patulong naman po.

Hindi ka makakapasok ng basta basta lang sa may 'malakas sa admissions', kung meron mang ganun.

sadly, the "malakas sa admission" part does not apply ind DLSU. take the entrance exams.

"malakas sa admissions" sorry kung may confusion. ang ibig sabihin ko po ay para mabigyan ako ng entrance exam. kung nabasa nyo po ang worry ko ay hindi mabigyan ng entrance exam dahil sa gpa ko.

hindi ka ba papasok sa dlsu as a freshman again? I never heard of newcommers going into school needing a minimum gpa. For matters like this, it is best for you to contact the admissions office and clarify your standing.

Hi everyone,

Our client is now accepting OJT. It's a gamming company from Holland. The office is located in the 10th floor two-ecom MOA. May daily allowance na din and if you are performing beyond expectations, you will have a great chance of being hired.

Basically they are looking for game designers (2D and 3d graphic artists using CS6, Maya, Zbrush, 3dmax, unfold3d) and game software developers as well using visual c++

Hello fellow CCS people! =))

So I'm an incoming frosh this 2nd term (had my application deferred to the 2nd term because someone from the immediate family passed away recently...). Any tips from you guys? Oh and just by digging this thread, I could tell that I'm delayed na. Kasi subjects like BASICON can't be taken during the 2nd term. So I'd have to wait... *sigh*.

Actually, you can. Some of my friends who failed BASICON nung first term were able to take it on the 2nd term. I think magpepetition lang or something.

@Carlos, depending on the specialization you choose and your soon-to-have subject arranging skills, there is a chance na you can still be on track with the flowchart. Anyway, try mo suggestion ni Chaos. And kumuha ka ng flowcharts ng lahat ng specializations para makita mo yung flow ng subjects and kung kelan ka pwedeng sumabay through the others.

Yep got the flowcharts na from DLSU's website. . Is it true na BAKA ma-adopt ako ng isang block? I hope so. Even though na blocks would last 'till the 3rd term lang, its still better na you had a block kasi friends I guess? HAHAHA. I mean sa groupmates din and stuff. Kasi hassle if iba iba classmates mo sa iba't ibang subjects

Yeah, the block you'll be with the most will probably the block you will be "adopted" to. Pero don't worry about it, sa una lang yan where you think you need a block to get groupmates and stuff. Kahit naging thesismate ko yung isang ka-block ko, the best groupmates I've ever had were from blocks other than where I've been placed to when I was a freshman.

Shoutout kay adik dito sa PEx, groupmates forever Tsaka other S19 and S20 ID108 guys kung mapadpad man kayo dito
