Hi guys, this is the little indoor herb incubator that we just fashioned out of fluorescent lights and some PVC pipes. Konti lang sunlight dito sa amin e. I placed cherry tomatoes, lettuce, and arugula. Sana mapatubo ko! Any tips or comments for improvement? Thanks guys!

Sabi sa newspaper the other day ililipat sila sa Circle dahil gagawin business district kuno yung lugar ng manila seedling bank. Pati yung Parks and Wildlife damay dun sa biz district project ni bistek.
Guys, help! are these what you would call leggy plants? They seem to be in a slanting position also, like they're reaching for the sun.
Argh. Sorry for the blurry pics din, di ko makuhanan ng maayos. Ano ang pinakamaganda kong gawin? Itapat talaga sa ilalim ng araw? Di naman sila mamamatay sa init nun?

redraincoat, you need to transplate those plants quick!
leggy plants you say? artificial lighting is your solution, florescent lights (daylight color!) are what you need. then mount them as low as possible above the plants. just make sure you don't let the plants touch the bulb, or burnt plants you will get. an adjustable system is best para when the plants get taller, you can raise and lower the lights as needed.
if you don't wanna spend for that then transplant your nightshades (tomatoes, potatoes, peppers) deeper everytime you need to repot.
beyond that, i have no clue.
Thank you sir franz! Wahhh sabi na nga ba something's really wrong with them! They're too thin and leggy! Pure white fluorescent sya. Bili nalang ako tomorrow.
Thank you for your tip!!!
As in all day long sunlight? Last time I drowned my plants, ngayon naman I deprived them of sunlight! Hay. Practice makes perfect talaga.
daylight is white white white color. not yellow white. pure white. sorry, thought it needed clarifying

I just planted them last Saturday. They grew so fast, especially the arugula. Should I just transplant them even if they're barely even a week old? Hindi ba masisira yung roots nila? I just put them under my fluorescent lights and they are doing ok naman, even my lettuce. Should I just transplant the arugula and the cherry tomatoes anyway?
