Straight from the sources, complaints continue to be heard from agents on how Cognizant manages its agents under the UBS account. Issue ranging from resigning or resigned employees, back pays or last pays etc....it now gives the impression that India-based company Cognizant want to play it rough...well lets hope that it is not what it appears to be. Well as the saying goes "if its not written...it does not exist." To make your complaint exist you may execute an affidavit pertaining to your concerns and make that one progressed into a labor case by submitting your labor complaint to this field office (this DOLE field office covers Taguig) of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) 3rd Floor Susana Arcade Bldg., Zapote-Alabang Road, Almanza I, Las Pinas City (Tel 800-15-38 & 403-46-15). As the nearest landmark, the DOLE field office is 100 meters away from SM Southmall. To go there you may ride a bus from Baclaran going to SM Southmall then just ask jeepney drivers or vendors when you arrived at the mall on the location of Susana Arcade (there is a Y_MAHA Motorcycle store on its Ground Floor).
Just a reminder before you submit your affidavit have it first reviewed by a lawyer. I know its expensive for a lawyer to do that for you but what you can do is to get in touch with the Public Attorney's Office (PAO) in your municipality for legal assistance which is part of their mandate to help you.
