Team RGUTZ and Team PROBST, welcome to your fifth tribal immunity challenge.
For this challenge, we will test how good you are at asking the right and specific questions in order to find out the secret word the opposing tribe is keeping.
We will play YES OR NO GAME, PEXSurvivor Style.
Since this is a retake of the last challenge, Team Probst may choose to sit out a different set of players this time.
Here’s how the challenge works:
1.) Each tribe will PM me a COMMON English word.
No scientific and medical terms
Proper nouns are allowed
2.) Failure to PM me the word before 10 PM tonight will incur 15 minutes penalty for the tribe for every minute after 10 PM.
3.) At exactly 10:00 PM tonight, each tribe starts their own thread entitled: Team Probst’s/Rgutz’ secret Word. Failure to do so will incur 15 minutes penalty for the tribe for every minute before or after 10 PM.
4.) Each tribe member asks a question answerable by yes or no. They have to direct their question to a specific member of the defending tribe.
5.) The player asked must reply immediately with a yes or a no.
6.) If the answer is yes, the player who asked the question gets additional 20 points while the player asked loses 20 points.
7.) If the answer is no, the player asked gets 20 points while the player who asked loses 20 points.
8.) For this challenge, each player gets a starting 100 points.
9.) Once a player runs out of points, he is eliminated from the challenge.
10.) If a question or guess remains unanswered after an hour it was posted, the defending tribe gets 60 minutes penalty on their finishing time for every hour the question remains unanswered.
11.) Any player may guess the right answer anytime during the challenge. For every wrong guess, that player loses 100 points.
12.) If a defending player provides a wrong or misdirecting answer, he loses 50 points.
13.) First tribe to guess the secret word the earliest wins immunity.
14.) The tribe loses automatically if they don’t have active players in the challenge anymore.
15.) If after 48 hours the game has not ended, the tribe with the highest cumulative points wins immunity. In case of a tie, the tribe with the most number of players left wins. If still there’s a tie, the tribe with the most number of yes wins. IF there is still a tie, we draw rocks.
Format for Questions:
MarielRomero, Is it a <insert question>? FFM currently has 100 points.
Format for Answers:
<Quote the question>
FFM, No it isn’t. FFM loses 20 points.
MarielRomero has now 120 points.
Team RGUTZ, you’ve won a huge advantage during the last reward challenge.
You have a choice between positive or negative.
Positive
Each player in your tribe gets additional 20 points.
Negative
Each player on the other tribe loses 20 points.
Post your decision before you start the game.

If the defending player has less than 20 points left and loses to the asking player, the asking player earns whatever points is left from the defending player.
ex.
If FFM has only 10 points left and he answers MarielRomero YES, MarielRomero only gains 10 points while FFM is out of the challenge.
and vice versa.
A player with less than 100 points can always guess the right answer anytime. If he is wrong, he is out of the challenge.
You may not edit your posts
You may only post a question IF there are no other questions left unanswered.
10.) If a question or guess remains unanswered after an hour it was posted, the defending tribe gets 60 minutes penalty on their finishing time for every hour the question remains unanswered.

Tapos, mas mahirap ata ito kesa nung last challenge. Kase kahit sino pwede tanungin. Kaya dapat online lahat ng players the entire 48 hours?

60 minutes per hour if the question is left unanswered.
If you want to end the challenge with the words still not revealed, that's fine with me.
If that is how you want to play the challenge, that's fine with me.
The time penalty will take effect if the word has been guessed right.
If after 48 hours, the challenge is not yet over, that is when we count the points left.
The reason why I used the - and + scheme this time is for everyone to not run out of chances to ask a question, well depending on how you play strategically. The main aim of the challenge is for you to guess the word and not to accumulate points.
But if that is how you wanted to play this challenge, so be it.
You wouldn't take a guess without enough information regarding the word right?
And you all PMed me your secret words. Your opponents can not change it when you guessed it right.
^ you're saying all those things but as you can see .... problems exist because of it ...
hintayin ang isang sagot for 6 hours ... kesa naayos mo yung tungkol sa 1 hour rule ... mas lumala pa!
hintay ka for one answer ... nde kasi pwedeng magtanong ng marame...
sinasabi mong so be it ... so be it ... ano yun? mulat ang mga mata namin for 48 hours?
If that is how you want to play the challenge, ano ba ang magagawa ko.
I just set the rules and implement them. It is up to you on how you are going to play by the rules.
Nanggaling na rin mismo kay Faaip na nafigure out nila yung loophole kaya they exploited it to a tee. Kaya nga nagpost ako ng added rule barring anyone from doing a posting frenzy even before you started posting your questions.
You guys can play the straight forward yes or no game kung gugustuhin nyo. In two or three hours pwedeng matapos ang challenge.
Pero since some of you wanted to use the rules to win, kayo kayo rin ang magsuffer.
