His acting is super galing and he literally made me cry tonight.. I felt his acting, it's so genuine and it makes me want to take Gae In's place and be there for him instead.. kuya, galing!! wala akong ibang masabi.. BOW kung BOW..

I think there's more to the Chang ryul - In Hee romance that meets the eye.. I'm screaming for english subs for tonights episode ASAP!! ang dami kailangan maintindihan kasi naglabasan yata ang mga emotions nilang lahat.. and next week i think is the start of a new season since the last part showed the past scenes..

etong kaibigan ni Gae In, hindi ko alam kung matutuwa ako sa kanya o hindi.. she serves as the bridge.. without her knowing it, she is building this connection that's why ang inner feelings na nakabaon pa sa ngayon, slowly is rising on top dahil sa mga pinagagawa niya during the photoshoot.. haaayyyyy.. ayan, pretend "family" na may patutunguhan sa huli..

and lastly.. it's a good thing that I was able to prepare myself in tonights episode.. alam ko naman na sooner or later, this will happen.. and tonight it finally did.. YES.. kung anu un iniisip niyo girls, YUN NA YUN!!! pero i think what really drived me in that scene is the way Min Ho acted.. ang GALING lang talaga.. and he was crying.. AAAAAWWWWWWW.. and I cried along with him..

I can't wait for english sub.. super kailangan tong maintindihan.. I'm advising you girls to wait for the sub.. mas ma-aappreciate niyo eto kung may sub.. so im waiting anxiously for the subs this weekend.. im sure, im still going to cry like watching kuya for the first time..

at eto pa pala.. kaswerte lang nitong si Gae In talaga to have Jin Ho, ang sweet sweet pa niya sobra!!.. and literal na naging all-around ang Jin Ho.. kahit ang pagbili ng personal items e, go! just for the sake of Gae In.. and that's the kind of concern that he's harboring now na hindi niya alam, nadedevelop na.. super close na sila, ibang level na ang friendship.. it's getting "there" indeed.. and i just like how close to reality it is.. the way they act.. it seems natural.. maganda pala ang sunbae-hunbae relationship nila onset

...Honestly, I can’t quite put a finger on why I can’t get fired up about Lee Jia. I've only seen her in Style, and yeah, she didn't make an impression on me. I didn't even finish that drama. I could no longer sit through 3 more episodes of boring.

(I know Kae-in’s a slob, but she’s so adorable! It’s refreshing to have a heroine who isn’t always dressed in thousand-dollar designer threads.)...

What's dramabeans talking about? It's usually the other way around, isn't it? The only heroine I could think of who goes around in designer threads is Ma Hye Ri from Prosecutor Princess. Otherwise, most lead female characters I've seen in K-dramas are poor and unfashionable. Maybe it's the dramas I watch.

...It seems that actress Yoshitaka Yuriko (21, photo left) has split with actor Tamaki Hiroshi (30) and has already moved on. A source close to Tamaki told the Sankei Sports newspaper that the pair split up about a month ago. Meanwhile, today's issue of the "Josei Seven" weekly magazine includes shots of Yoshitaka on a recent date with Amakawa Genki (25, photo bottom left), bassist with the rock band Flumpool. After enjoying the cherry blossoms and dinner at a local izakaya restaurant, they returned to Amakawa's apartment. Asked to comment on the relationship, management for Yoshitaka said the pair are just good friends and had stayed up late playing video games.



Yoshitaka and Tamaki started dating after they worked together on the 2009 TBS drama "Love Shuffle." Well, what do you expect? She's only 21 and she hardly saw her boyfriend! I would have moved on too especially if I were surrounded by bishounens (beautiful boys) like Yoshitaka is since she's in the entertainment industry. ; although I don't find that guy she supposedly replaced Tamaki with attractive. He must have something, though.

That's partly why I enjoy watching K-dramas. I love seeing the wardrobes, the shoes, accessories and bags that they've been using. They're really up to date with the latest trends...

You can really tell which is the hottest accessory/clothing of the moment because you'll see it in at least two dramas airing simultaneously like in the case of that Cartier document holder, pink Marc Jacobs Rio satchel, and that men's red sport coat.

I purposely didn't add anymore pictures of Ethan because he's already well represented. He's on the ulzzang banner, he's one of the instructors featured on orangekai's B-School ad (different swim strokes for different folks) , and he's on my avatar. Meanwhile, Ji Hyun Woo, Si Won, and Mukai Osamu weren't represented at all.

I just want to share few excerpts from PT SOOMPI thread (PALLYCUTE) that I find very interesting.. Kuya, you've been proving how well-behaved you are.. we can only be proud and happy for Ate! hahahahaha

Q: We heard you'll shoot a kissing scene today. Is there anything you prepared in particular for it or expect of?
Lee: I prepared mint candy for the scene.
Son: It's where the melodrama element to the show starts to surface, the episode where the two suddenly become an item while in the process of becoming friends. A slightly drunk Jin-ho kisses Gae-in who is consoling him.
Lee: To put it more correctly, it's not a kiss but a peck.

Yes naman kuya, talagang kailangan ICLARIFY natin ng mabuti ang scene na eto..

Q: Son Ye-jin, you are Lee Min-ho's senior in the acting industry. Do you act as his acting teacher too?
Son: He actually disregards me. He'll say, "It doesn't matter if I do it like this." (laugh)
Lee: This is a drama where chemistry between us is very important. That's why I dare to speak my mind and it helps a lot that she really listens to my opinions. She's amazing when it comes to interpreting situations she'll also help me realize things that I hadn't thought of so that's when I think she's a great actress.
Son: Lee's greatest strength is that he is optimistic. When I worry that our ratings aren't as good as I thought they would be, he'll tell me that everything will be okay. And actors usually become very frustrated when their lines and directing don't go the way they want it to but Lee is good at letting go and organizing his thoughts in such situations. I too am the type that grumbles to myself. He is an actor with more potential for growth. I usually work with actors who are more than 10 years older than me, it's the first time I'm working with someone like Lee who is several years younger, so it feels quite weird and fun. I think there's a lot of synergy that comes from people my age.
Lee:I have a lot of fun on set. Son treats me like she's my older sister, not my senior actor, and the guys are so funny that I'm busy laughing when I'm on set.

Hindi parin nagbabago si Min Ho.. he's true to himself and always speaks his mind.. at talagang KAPATID ang turing PERIOD..

Q: What sort of response are you expecting for through the drama?
Son: Nothing grand. I had just thought that I would have fun with the drama. Acting-wise, of course I always want to be considered good. I hope Gae-in will develop from a character who needs protection to someone who is rooted for while showing the process of how she matures.
Lee:I had been worried because the image of my character Gu Joon-pyo from "Boys Over Flowers" had embedded so deeply in people's minds. Rather than showing that I'm clearly a great actor, I think I'll have succeeded even if people say that I've matured and that they don't see Gu Joon-pyo in me anymore. I want to give off the feeling that I'm playing a realistic character who is likely to exist in everyday life rather than be greedy to change my acting.

Kuya, we'll be praying that you'll be recognized as an ACTOR in the truest sense of the word this year because YOU TRULY DESERVE it..

Yoon Eun-hye cameos on Personal Taste


Yoon Eun-hye will be making a special appearance in MBC’s trendy series Personal Taste, which will air next week. If you don’t want to know the details, skip the next paragraph!



Yoon will play the part of Jin-ho’s (Lee Min-ho) ex-girlfriend, who happens to run into Jin-ho and Kae-in (Sohn Ye-jin) when they go to see a movie. Thus the three end up going to to watch the movie together. (Since Kae-in believes Jin-ho to be gay, this will no doubt lead to more comic misunderstandings, and as those are among my favorite scenes, I say bring it on.) Her character’s name is the same as her own, Eun-hye, although she’s not playing herself.

Yoon Eun-hye is a proven ratings magnet, and even her lesser dramas have garnered solid ratings thanks to her star power. It’ll be interesting to watch how her brief role will affect Personal Taste next week, which has settled in the lower teens ratings-wise. Her appearance will air in next Thursday’s (April 22) episode.

(Also: We have yet another connection between best buddies Lee Min-ho and Jung Il-woo! Yoon acted with Jung in last year’s My Fair Lady, which was also produced by the same company behind Personal Taste, Yigim Productions.)

Super Junior’s Leeteuk and Donghae visit women suffering from abuse


Super Junior cuties Leeteuk and Donghae recently visited a Vietnamese women shelter to provide consolation and hope.

On March 28th, Leeteuk and Donghae visited a women shelter called Peace Home, a center that accommodates 20 women between the ages 10 and 20 who have been physically and mentally abused. The shelter allows these women to receive psychological treatment and provides them with small daily activities, such as sewing and knitting, in order to recover and build their confidence once they return to the real world.



The two idols met between four to five women and sincerely listened to their painful stories as they provided encouraging words for these women. In addition, to these women who said that they felt Super Junior’s popularity while watching their concerts, Super Junior had a private signing session where the boys wrote hope-ridden messages for them.

Regarding this visiting experience, Leeteuk commented, “It hurt me a lot to think about how much pain these young women endured.”

Meanwhile, Super Junior participated in an open concert last month at Vietnam’s Hanoi. Representing Korea, Super Junior charismatically performed their hit songs like Sorry Sorry and It’s You.

It’s always nice to see popular celebrities partake in good work like this. Let’s hope to see more of Super Junior members volunteering again in the future.

Rain Accused of Embezzlement


Korean pop star Rain has been accused of embezzlement.

The Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office said Wednesday it had opened an investigation into the singer, whose real name is Jung Ji-hoon, as he was listed among eight people that a 52-year-old man recently filed a petition against for embezzlement.



In the petition, the man, identified only by his surname Lee, claimed he had invested two billion won ($1.79 million) in a fashion firm, J.Tune Creative in 2008, which he claims was owned by Rain, and then sustained significant losses as a result of account book manipulation.

"They cooked the books and embezzled two billion won," the petitioner said in a statement. A prosecutor familiar with the case said, "The investigation is in its early stages."

But the prosecutor did not rule out the possibility of the singer being summoned for questioning, if deemed necessary.

Rain's management agency denied the allegation.

"Rain has nothing to do with the case," J.Tune Entertainment said in a statement. The agency is associated with the fashion company. "Rain was just a model for the company, not a manager."

Mr. Perfect has no time to date


WITH his towering 1.88m frame and chiselled good looks that make women go weak in the knees, you'd expect Daniel Henney to be an expert in the field of dating.

But the 30-year-old model-turned-actor - born in the US to an ethnic Korean mother and American father of British descent - is no Casanova, or so he claims.

And it all boils down to his hectic schedule.



In a phone interview with The New Paper to promote his new US television series Three Rivers, Henney lamented: 'I don't date a lot of women, primarily because I don't have the time to do so. If I do, I will probably go on more dates.

'I'd very much like to find that special someone in my life... it's been a while.'

The hunk, who became a household name in Asia after snagging a meaty role in the 2005 Korean comedy series My Lovely Sam Soon, revealed candidly that he has been unattached 'for three to four years'.

He broke up with his last serious girlfriend after he started working actively in Korea.

If he had the time, what sort of girl would he date?

Henney said it would be 'someone whom I can laugh with'.

'I know it sounds like a cliche but it's about the personality; it'll be great if she has a sense of humour.'

He added that he is 'generally attracted to people who are relaxed and natural'.

Sporty gals who 'love hiking and outdoor activities' are a draw too.

'I don't like girls who put on too much make-up,' he said.

'As much as they look good dressing up, I like them when they dress casually in T-shirts and jeans.'

On Three Rivers, a US medical drama that puts the spotlight on the emotional complexities of organ donors, he plays Dr David Lee, a womanising surgical resident.

The 13-episode series, which also stars Australian actor Alex O'Loughlin and US actress Katherine Moennig, opens next Wednesday at 10pm on Sony Entertainment Television (mioTV Ch 20).

Unfortunately, the first season of Three Rivers ended its run last November in the US and the series has been cancelled.

Henney was speaking to us from Los Angeles, one of the many cities his burgeoning career has taken him to.

He is constantly on the move and that has proven to be the biggest hindrance in his bid for a stable romantic relationship.

'I'm kind of like a gypsy, never at the same place for more than couple of weeks,' the star of the 2006 Korean movie, Seducing Mr Perfect, said laughing.

'In this (entertainment) business, it's really hard to maintain a lasting relationship.

'As soon as you get comfortable with another person, you've got to tell them you have to leave the country for a few months.'

'But I've been based in Asia for 10 years and my perception has since switched 180 degrees; I'm definitely more attracted to Asian women now!'

Ironically, while he plays the non-committal, slightly cocky Don Juan-like Dr Lee on Three Rivers, he has no qualms playing second fiddle to co-star Moennig when it comes to capturing the hearts of female audiences.

Before Three Rivers, the androgynous-looking Moennig was a regular on lesbian-themed drama The L Word, which earned her a huge female fanbase.

'Not for one second do I think I'm hotter than Kate,' said Henney, chuckling.

'She's way hotter than me, she has a bunch of great tattoos and a really cool attitude.'

If he could have his way, he'd love to have his character 'hook up' with hers on the show.

Moennig plays rebellious surgical fellow Dr Miranda Foster, a colleague of Henney's Dr Lee.

At one point, the producers were exploring the idea of developing their relationship as a story arc, he said.

But it eventually failed to materialise.

'Somehow, it's still kind of taboo for doctors to hook up onscreen,' he said.

Yes. Jang Geun-Suk has done it again. This time he has sold out 3,000 seats from his second Asian fan meeting tour in Beijing. The title of the fan meeting will be “2010 JANG KEUN SUK Asia Tour in Beijing” and it will began on April 17th at 7PM. The tickets have been sold through internet ticketing site www.88piao.com and the tickets have been sold out within hours. Jang Keun-Suk will leave Korea on April 15th and arrive at Beijing on the same day.

What's dramabeans talking about? It's usually the other way around, isn't it? : confused : The only heroine I could think of who goes around in designer threads is Ma Hye Ri from Prosecutor Princess. Otherwise, most lead female characters I've seen in K-dramas are poor and unfashionable. Maybe it's the dramas I watch. : lol :
