Idina is also a bit notorious for forgetting song lines (parang Andrea Corr, may Andreatitis). sa same concert in Nashville, she sang Over the Moon but never continued kasi hindi na nya alam yung lyrics. haha! and just a couple of weeks ago, she appeared with the Boston Pops, she messed up with the lyrics of The Life of the Party.

'Glee' Star Idina Menzel Says Singing 'Poker Face' Made Her 'Obsessed' With Lady Gaga

Over the past year, there are two things that have become synonymous with pop culture: "Glee" and Lady Gaga. So, it's only fitting that the two will come together during tomorrow night's brand new episode. In it, the stars of "Glee" will sing some of Gaga's greatest hits, including a duet of the acoustic version of "Poker Face". Singing it will be none other than powerhouse mother-daughter duo of Shelby and Rachel, played by Idina Menzel and Lea Michele.

Idina sat down with MTV News to discuss how she tackled Gaga's tunes and became familiar with the new pop icon. "I don't channel Lady Gaga," Idina explains, "I'm just in awe of Lady Gaga." While the actress admits she wasn't as "up to speed" on Lady Gaga as the rest of the world, once she got aquainted with her, she was hooked. "Now, I'm obsessed," says shes.


Her favorite thing about fellow New York City girl Gaga's persona? "Anytime someone so young has such a definitive take on their own style and..what they want to put out there in the world, I'm just always so in awe of that because when I was that age I didn't know who I was or what I wanted."

- during her Rock Star Fantasy skit, she said "No f**cking gren M&Ms. No f**cking gren M&Ms." During the Macy Day 2008 Parade, she was in the M&Ms float and there was a huge M&M dressed as a witch (and guess what colour? or character for that matter)

Idina looked particularly GORGEOUS in this week's Glee Episode. Funny Girl and Poker Face were epic. I hope we still get to see her in the future. Or they should totally do a spin-off with Shelby as lead and have her sing 5 songs every week. Haha!
