will.i.am. maganda at magaling na mentor yan.
yay! Cher Lloyd will be performing on the first Live Show of the X factor US. HERE.
I'm excited for her, I hope Rebecca's next...
apparently, marami ang nag audition al@ cher lloyd last year haha
wee!!!
^nabasa ko din but I think she's just one of the contenders. I prefer her though, over Cheryl hehe
calling Star World and local channels, please broadcast The X Factor USA just like Idol.
What if there is a local version here, ABS-CBN naman? kasi ABC and GMA have failed in the Idol franchise.
Fergie and Nicole pinagpipilian diba. sana si Nicole nalang.![]()
ABC did better than GMA.. I was able to watch live shows of both ABC and GMA. What I'm referring to sa "fail" ng both franchise is yung pagsikat ng winners and other finalists. I'm sure very few people know who Mau Marcelo is so as the Gretchen. The only contestant na sumikat at nagtagal is Gian Magdangal.
Idol was expected to be a nationwide phenomenon in the Philippines but they both failed to do that. Philippine Idol was overshadowed by Pinoy Dream Academy.
'Ohhh... Maybe that was a secret!' Mel B lets slip she could be replacing Cheryl Cole as UK X Factor judge

Mel B is thought to be replacing Cheryl Cole as a judge on X Factor, after she let the plans slip out during a Heart FM interview.
The former Spice Girl was speaking to Jamie Theakston and said she was moving back to Britain with her family for ‘quite some time’ this year.
She then quickly backtracked and said: ‘I don’t think I was meant to say that though. Oh sorry! Pregnant brain… Maybe that was a secret.’
Special guest: Mel B appeared on Loose Women today with her four-year-old daughter Angel
X Factor: During her interview on Loose Women, Mel said 'I think whoever gets that job is going to be over the moon'
When asked if she was being lined up to replace Cheryl Cole on the hit ITV talent show, Mel responded: ‘Maybe so.
‘Anyway… I’m in so much trouble, why did I do this interview? I don’t talk about anything unless it’s ready to go.’
New judge? When asked if she would sit next to Louis Walsh or Dannii Minogue, Mel B quickly changed the subject to talk about the weather
However, perhaps realising his faux-pas, the music mogul then seemed to quickly backtrack on his statement, explaining that the panel had not actually been decided yet. He went on to even try to blame a delay in the video link for his incorrect response.
Meanwhile, Mel B also appeared on Loose Women today and brought her four-year-old daughter Angel with her.
She posted on Twitter after filming the slot: ‘Did you all see angel??? She was adamant about being on tv!!!’
During her Loose Women interview she said of X Factor plans: 'Rumours are rumours. I think whoever gets that job is going to be over the moon.'
She then winked at the camera, before adding: 'I'm only joking', but when asked if she'd like to do it, she replied: 'Who wouldn't like to do it?'
Pregnant star: Mel B was spotted this week with her four-year-old daughter Angel and husband Stephen Belafonte in Los Angeles before flying back to the UK
When asked what sort of judge she'd be, she said: 'I'd just be honest, sometimes I'm not really that tactful I don't think'
Mel then spoke about her experience as an X Factor mentor in Australia and said: 'It was nice. I got to perform a Spice Girl song with the other contestants and I got to tell them what I thought, in a nice way - because you want to encourage them.
'I was their support system. It was lovely.'
Mel and her daughter were snapped earlier in the week with her husband Stephen Belafonte by a pool in Los Angeles, where the pregnant singer showed off her baby bump.
Angel was seen kissing her mother’s stomach and at one point appeared to be talking to her unborn brother or sister.

I've read that Simon wants Leona to finish her 3rd album just in time for an American release and an X Factor USA appearance.
^that'd be great for Leona who faded in the US after a couple of hits.
Also, I can't wait for Simon to introduce Rebecca in the US (thru the US franchise) --

But today reports have emerged that Cheryl Cole WILL be taking a seat next to Simon Cowell after the music mogul is said to have convinced Fox TV bosses about the former Girls Aloud singer.
Nicole Scherzinger, who was a hot favourite for the judging role, is also tipped for a major role in the highly anticipated show – as the host.
ooohhhh noo....
and from another UK tabloid, she's apparently just days away to sealing the deal as the complete judges will be announce by the end of the month...
One month after Simon Cowell appointed record exec Antonio "L.A." Reid to The X Factor's judging panel, there's another A-list star joining the fray.
Although Mariah Carey has long been rumored to sit alongside Reid as a judge, Cowell told radio host Jackie Brown the eight-months-pregnant singer will join the series when it premieres in September — but not in the role fans had expected.
"I think Mariah will have a role on the live shows," Cowell told Spokane, Washington disc jockey Brown on Friday during her 92.9ZZU radio show. "I met her recently and she was on great form."
Citing Carey's pregnancy, Cowell confirmed she has been taken out of the running as a judge, but he revealed that the singer had a better idea in mind that would allow her to still take part.
"Her idea was to be the judge of the judges, which only Mariah could come up with," Cowell told Brown. "She'll be involved in some form. I literally adore her. I love her to bits."
In the meantime, Cowell and Co. are holding open auditions for the Fox series nationwide. Solo artists and vocal groups over the age of 12 can audition for the show in Seattle, Chicago and Dallas this spring. The winner of the series will pocket a $5 million recording contract from Cowell's Syco/SonyMusic imprint.
Additional judges and the show two hosts will be announced at a later date.
We bet Cheryl Cole wished she had been given the choices Jennifer Lopez had, after the Latino star revealed that she was offered a role on the X Factor USA, but turned it down to star on American Idol.
Talking to the Daily Star, the actress and singer revealed that she ultimately signed on the dotted line for American Idol because it was a "better fit" for her.
She said: "We did talk about The X Factor for a little bit. But at the end of the day, thinking about my career and everything that was going on, when the opportunity to do Idol came along it seemed a better fit.
"Idol has been a show for so many years. It's an institution. To be involved in something like that felt really great."
Despite the success Jen has gained from the show that has made the likes of Kelly Clarkson and Jennifer Hudson household names, the star is unsure about her future on the show.
"I don't know if I will do another season. I'm taking it day by day at the moment and we'll see what happens. I've been having a great time, I can't lie. I'm really enjoying it and having fun and enjoying working with the contestants. You can't help but learn from them. You're talking about performing and singing and when you're watching them you see them and think, 'I do that'. It's been a great exchange back and forth."
