I was wondering if anyone had opened a savings account on BPI and experienced something similar to my case:
They opened my account (I got the deposit slip with my account #) but did not give me the ATM card until I give the branch a proof of billing. I cannot secure a proof of billing addressed at the one I registered w/them at the moment. I have explained to the teller that securing one would be impossible at the moment but she only told me na "to follow" the proof of billing, but she did not give the ATM card to me after she processed my new account.
Will the lack of a billing statement void my application/getting my ATM card and using my account? In the first place kung hindi pwede, sana sinabi na lang niya and I could have opened an account on another bank with less stricter requirements...
