thanks again everyone. magsisimula na akong magbasa really soon. kinukumpleto ko lang ang materials ko.

kailangan ko pa bang bumili ng copar book or ok na yung integrated part na nasa phn book? meron ba kayong marecommend na book aboit nursing research? yung easy to understand because i really hate that subject.

malaki ba ang chance kong pumasa if ill just settle na basahin ang libro ni videbeck only for psych? i mean no more other books.

gusto ko sana makabili ng compilation ng past exams but im scared na sabi nga ng iba na yung sa recto sablay ang answer keys...

Batch 2011 Nursing graduate ako. December 2011 ako nagtake, kasi feeling ko kulang ang panahon sa pag rereview kung magtake ako ng July 2011.

Since mahaba ang panahon na free time ako, at October pa naman nag simula ang review classes namin, nag self review ako. I used Pillitteri for M and C, dinaanan ko lang yung mahahalagang concepts since sabi nung lecturer namin dati sa in house, di naman nag tatanong ng malalalim na questions regarding M and C. Basta aralin mo lang yung mga pinaka mahahalaga. Then, sa MS naman, I used Brunner and Suddarth, ayun.. Pinaka important talaga ang MS, tyagaan lang, kahit feeling mo paulit ulit na yung sinasabi, mahalaga padin na mabasa mo lalo na mahahalagang systems like cardio, pulmo, gastro, neuro.. Mahaba talagang basahin ang MS pero worth it naman kapag nag tatake ka na ng board exam. Sa CHN, yung white book ng DOH ginamit ko tapos niscan ko din yung IMCI..
1month before mag start yung review namin, ang inaral ko na yung Mosby, actually book yun sa RA Gapuz, kung san din ako nag review, pinilit kong matapos yun.. But unfortunately, di ko na din natapos kasi kinulang na ko ng time. Ayun, basta hanggat may free time, basa lang ng basa, kapag napagod, relax, pahinga, pag okay na ulit basa na uli.

Kahit na nag self review ako for how many months, pag dating ko sa review center, madami pading nga nga moments dun sa sinasabi ng lecturers na di ko talaga alam. So para sakin, pinaka mahalaga talaga na mag focus kapag naka enroll ka na sa review center, aralin lahat ng mga binigay ng lecturers na notes pag kauwi. For me, mahalaga talaga ang pag eenroll sa review center kasi dito tinuturo yung test taking skills, tamang pag sshade, yung mga do's and don'ts and marami pang iba.

Sa haba ng sinabi ko, hahaha! For me, piliin mo both. Do self review and enroll on a good review center. Madami namang magagandang review centers, I'm a Gapuz Baby. I heard, maganda din daw sa RCAP, Sultan, Merge and RUN..

I only studied SAUNDERS for MS/Psych/OB/Pedia, Funda by Kozier,MS by Udan, IMCI notes, LMR notes and lots of Q and As from Saunders, Mosby, Lipincott , Brunner CD. Don't be bothered about not getting high scores at first, think of your incorrect answers as a way for you to dissect the rationales. You won't be doing that if you initially got the right answer.

I recommend SAUNDERS although di ko naman talaga nakagamit yun. Pero yung classmate ko na nag top 4 sa Dec 2011 NLE, yan yung binasa nya nung nag seself review palang sya. Nagamit nya daw talaga yan, and maganda talaga yung book. Sabi din nung isang friend ko na nag review sa RUN, yung mga taga PLM na nag top, SAUNDERS din daw ang ginamit nilang book.

Self studying for me is the best. Having a review in review center is not enough because your still need to self-study.

Self review lang din ako, ayaw ko mag waste ng money sa review centers.

Ang tanong ko, sa loob ng apat na taon mo sa nursing, nag-aaral ka bang mabuti? Ang preparation naman kasi sa board exam, hindi yan nakukuha sa iilang weeks ng pag-aaral, simula nung first day of school mo sa nursing classes mo nung 1st year ka, hanggang maka graduate ka, dapat napag aralan mo lahat ng importante.

Hindi pwedeng, kung kelan ka naka graduate saka mag aaral.

Kaya nga review, kasi ni re refresh mo lang dapat ang sarili mo, hindi dapat "new knowledge".
